But live Britney vocals are THE BEST and should not be missed. :) Says no one except our Criminal It's easy to see why she is outright refusing to sing one note live in Vegas. With fans like hers, who needs haters? For what it's worth (not much I know), I've always loved her live vocals and really just love her voice in general, "imperfections" and all. |

Just listened to Femme Fatale again. Very underrated album in the music world I feel. It was more tightly produced and progressive than most of the pop albums that were dominating during that time (Loud, Teenage Dream, etc) and even the filler track are great, like "Seal it With a Kiss". And BFB is SO underrated, I actually love that track. IT'S GETTIN BIGGA! Looking back at it now, it was a hot & perfectly crafted pop album. Very cohesive and just a straight up polished, fun pop album. That's what Britney should stick to. |

All of her albums besides Britney Jean stuck to the general sound that Britney should be sticking with, and doing it the best out of all the other pop stars. Stick to the pop/dance music but push the limits farther than other gurls are doing it and she'll be fine with the next album. That's what made Blackout and Femme Fatale so great. The only real problem with Femme Fatale was the excessive autotune cutting out her personality (especially on tracks like Drop Dead Beautiful, like damn).

The thing you have to remember about Britney is that it's entirely possible to recognize where she is at in life and what that means for her career without being a "hater". That's being realistic. To act like she hasn't grown as a person, an artist, or otherwise and to pretend she is "perfect" is flat out delusional. Knowing her, it's probably not what she'd want people to think of her either-- so I don't know why people insist on it like that somehow makes them superior to anyone who can recognize her shortcomings.
Plus, most of her quirks make for comedy gold 9/10 times.

Yeah, I agree. Calling out her shortcomings isn't being a hater. Having been a fan from the very beginning, to not note the changes in her abilities as an entertainer would be outright denial.
And quite frankly, I don't want to hear her attempt to sing live. Because she's not a good live singer. She's been a straight studio singer for a while now, and she needs to lip-sync her ass off and just concentrate on her dancing at this point.
She also needs to get back in the studio and record an awesome album ASAP.

I'm all for calling out her short comings. There are many to pick from. I just don't see her live singing voice as one of them? Just my opinion.
It does seem as though Britney gets more hate from her own fanbase than anyone else. It's just something that I've noticed from my 15+years of stanning. I just find it odd, that's all. I've always wondered why someone would waste time being a fan of someone they hate. Not saying that anyone is doing that here, or by not enjoying her voice, just saying that I have seen so much of that in various places over the years.
Anyway, Britney is obviously very insecure now. It's not farfetched to imagine that she has read what many of her own fans think of her live singing voice. If I read things like that, especially in an insecure frame of mind, I definitely wouldn't be chomping at the bit to invite more hate by singing live at all. The old Britney, sure? She'd love to prove them wrong and did on many occasions. This Britney? No. Apathy and insecurity prevent any such efforts.

Britney NEED not sing a note and she is fantastic. She is just Britney, quirky, sexy,dorky, , slutty and saint like and makes hot songs. You love her like you love me, you just don't know why you love us! unexplained yet just perfectly delicious. she is also one of the best trolls to ever do it.

Britney doesn't have the best live voice and she has never alluded to that.
For me, there is something about Britney's voice/vocals that I genuinely love, even auto-tuned. Britney is the best form of entertainment and she knows exactly how to execute each and every performance. She definitely knows how to make us want more. And trust me, I do.
Can't wait for album 9.

For the record i have nothing against Britney live vocals.I just hate stupid excuses. I love her and Janet for the same reasons but let's not make dumb excuses is all I'm saying! Britney's voice is just pleasant to listen to, regardless of actual vocal ability. On album or live, auto-tuned or not, she is pure ear candy to me. Btw, I've been listening to "My Only Wish (This Year)" & "Silent Night (Live)" to get into the Xmas spirit. :) |
