Probably not, she wouldn't really have enough time to rehearse an entirely new show since she's just doing this in between the May and August dates of POM. They're using the same promo images as Piece of Me too.

Britney Spears to Receive First-Ever Icon Award at 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards

Oops, she did it again: Britney Spears is coming home to Disney.

At this year’s Radio Disney Music Awards, the pop superstar will be presented with the first-ever Icon Award. The award recognizes an artist whose music is loved by Radio Disney fans of multiple generations and whose career goes beyond the limits of popular culture.

Spears has sold nearly 150 million records worldwide since her first single, “…Baby One More Time,” was released in 1998. Six of her albums debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and she has more than 30 Billboard Hot 100 hits, including four No. 1s. With more than 15 singles played on Radio Disney, the station considers the pop princess one of the most successful entertainers and a true icon.

The 2017 RDMAs will take place Saturday, April 29, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The two-hour telecast of the event will air Sunday, April 30, at 7 p.m. ET across multiple Disney-branded platforms.

"Britney: Piece of Me" officially ending in December

Britney Spears is ending her “Piece of Me” residency at Axis theater at Planet Hollywood on Dec. 31, as her contract with Caesars Entertainment expires, her Las Vegas manager Larry Rudolph said today.

Rudolph said her next venue “could be conceivably anywhere, we could have it at the needle on the top of the Stratosphere, and do the bungee jump afterward.”

That does stretch the meaning of “conceivably anywhere.” Mirth aside, it is clear now that Spears’ will not continue “Piece of Me” in an unbroken run through 2018. She is currently preparing for a summer tour of Asie and Tel Aviv, Israel.

“We are done with this show, and our next move is undecided,” Rudolph said Friday. “We are still talking with Caesars Entertainment and other interested parties in Las Vegas.”

But that does not mean Brit is finished in Vegas. I asked Rudolph about other venues similar in size and staging to Axis — including The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Park Theater and The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel. All are in play.

“Anything is possible. We have made zero decisions,” he said. “We expect a lot of interest from all parties. Britney basically sells out every show, and she loves Las Vegas, she loves performing in Vegas, and Vegas is a possibility going forward.”

Rudolph has said Spears might well take a break next spring and return to the stage after a layoff. “She might tour, she might work on a new album,” he said. “It’s too early to talk specifics about anything.” Spears closes her current run Saturday night, returning May 3-May 20. As Rudolph reminds, tickets for those shows will be especially coveted, given today’s announcement.

Don't get too excited. The groundwork is being laid for her to stay in Vegas, just at a different venue. It's too perfect of a setup for her. The only other thing I could see them considering is if they would actually set up a residency in LA. Lol

At least we will definitely be getting a totally new show out of this!

Idk why people hate that she's "stuck" in Vegas anyway. It's a great gig for her that she really seems to enjoy and it clearly doesn't stop her from doing other things, like record an album. I personally don't really care!

I want a world tour!. I'd like to be able to see her one more time before she retires. Trying to get a friend/friends to bite the very expensive bullet to go on a trip to Vegas is a hard sell when 1), they aren't Britney fans, like not even casually. And 2), don't want to go to Vegas to begin with .

The "Slumber Party" video is literally her best video since 2004. Watching it HD on a bigscreen, it's one of her most beautiful videos ever and serves everything a BS video needs.

^ The SP video is close to perfect-- unfortunately, the beginning is the worst part and likely hindered its performance. That first closeup on her face when she gets out of the car and starts singing is very unflattering, which is frustrating because she looks stunning throughout the rest of it.
