Man, heard this on the radio and couldn't get through it. It's sooo awful, and I'm not a Nickelback hater, but this has no chance IMO. Edge Of a Revolution is much better (bar the "what do we want" chant, which is terrible also...)

does the song have a chance entering the top 50? Ever? Yes. Probably not for awhile though. To be honest, I'm starting to believe this won't nail the Top 40.

Let's be honest. Did anyone actually think Nickelback sounded in place with today's pop landscape?

I often wonder if Pop will give the Rock Music Genre another chance anytime soon? alot of my friends and myself included really miss alot of the bands that were popular in the mid 2000's like for example (Nickelback, Staind, Crossfade, Yellowcard, Switchfoot, Flyleaf, 3 Doors Down, Puddle Of Mudd, Hinder, Three Days Grace!) GOD do i ever miss when these guys were blowing up the Radio all day!! AMAZING music back when i was in my early to mid Teens! im 25 now lol! time flies!

I'm not sure that this is the right section.. but i found sth on youtube:
This is a just a preview. It's quite different... more pop... but i kinda like it, i don't know why... this has some good tunes.

A better place to post that would be in their album discussion under the 'Artist Discussion' forum. pulsemusic.proboards.com/thread/140484/nickelback-fixed-addressI already put a link for SoundCloud on there, which is better quality. The video is missing "Satellite" and it goes to a bad quality after "Million Miles an Hour". I agree with the pop statement. They went poppier, but without selling out.

I think the pop singles should be 'She Keeps Me Up', 'Satellite' and 'Got Me Runnin Round'.
I definitely think WAYWF wasn't strong enough to be a lead single. Its a good song but doesn't really hit the ball out of the park.

Its a good song but doesn't really hit the ball out of the park. It'll be between "Got Me Runnin' Round" and "She Keeps Me Up" for a single. They have a similar style so I don't see them releasing both. Both seem like bops though. "Got Me Runnin' Round" is already a for sure single since it has Flo Rida on it. They wouldn't just put him on there and not utilize it. I've been pretty much the only one posting in these Nickelback threads lmao.

I know man, I remember during the 'Dark Horse' days these NB threads were been flooded. Its safe to say they've entered a new era of music where they either jump on the current dance/pop train or get left behind.
Now, by listening to the these previews it seems like they kinda wanted to chase the trends but at the same time they didn't want to alienate their loyal fans. The result could be exactly the right mix or a bit of a mess. Its hard to say how this album will sound after lots of listens.

Yikes. Removed from Republic Playbook for Top 40. Also declining for 3 days straight on Hot AC (though by very small margins). Probably going to be a for sure flop.

I wouldn't call it flop because no one was expecting it to do anything.
