Album credits. She got really high profile set of credits. There's still hope for it to be a really good pop album, really excited now

After all this wait, I feel like this should have at least 15 tracks, but either way we at least have some concrete information on the album that was originally planned for 2018.

So, flash forward a couple months, no Ariana and no Ed but we get Young Thug...? Disgusting.

Would Ariana and Ed really work with Zara right now? I'm guessing those were probably proposed collabs that weren't recorded.
Plus no way Zara's label wouldn't release a collab with any of them.

I'm pretty sure the Ariana "collab" people are referring to is when Ariana crashed Zara's studio session and lent her voice to the background choir vocals for fun. There were upwards of 8-10 people doing those vocals at the same time. Doubtful that would grant a "feat. Ariana Grande" tag. Ed has already written for Zara before, and I wouldn't be surprised if he did that again, but I don't see him and Zara on the same song. Especially when he needs to work on rolling out his own project and build anticipation.

{Song descriptions} Need Someone - it's low key one of my faves, cause apart from being a very casual Mattman & Robin produced track it's driven with beautiful piano riff that adds it a bit delicacy/nostalgia, if I force myself to compare it to some other tracks it would be Me & The Rhythm (not as good though) Right Here - very instant once it hits the chorus, you got a taste of it with Julia snippet and Zara version is pretty much the same Poster Girl - definitely my favorite song! Driven with warm bass and distorted airy Zara vocal sample repeating "I'm not a po o oster girl". Every next chorus hits harder and the climax of the song is pure bliss. I have to say the hook "Holy smokes! I'm not the poster girl of feelings but with you I can't stop" is a bitch cringe-worthy though. The pre chorus is super catchy. I Need Love - no idea where did y'all hear it (did she preview it? maybe some different version of it?) but this song goes pretty much nowhere. Most of it is just "I need love wo o o" repeated 100 times with VERY heavy vocoder. It's pleasant, but it sounds like weaker, uneventful Ruin My Life. Look What You've Done - I can see this being a big fan fave, cause it's funkier Need Someone with some great strings and bass, especially in the hook. Stick With You - disappointing considering it's Max Martin and The Struts. Very laid back built on acoustic guitar and trap beat, doesn't go anywhere, but the melody is nice. FFF - I think it's among one of my favorites too because of its funky verses, but the hook is a bit weak (+ a little part of it is noticeably sung by Julia Michaels and you can really hear a switch between their voices, it annoys me, no reason why they did that). What Happens Here - another trap pop bop, it's cute, but a bit fillerish.

Hoping they at least tack DWBM and ATT on as bonus tracks, even just on streaming. Both have more streams than WOW and LML, rude that they were cut. Zara went live on IG today and said that the 2 bonus tracks on the Target edition are new songs. I think she may have given the titles, but I'm not sure what she said. She's also filmed a video for her new single which will be out soon. She says she's really excited about the video.

The titles of the two Target bonus tracks are "Famous" and "When I'm Not Around".

They'd better release an extended version of the album digitally, with the Target bonus tracks and "All The Time" & "Don't Worry Bout Me". My scrobbles need a home :(

My scrobbles need a home :( it costs ~$3 for a month of last.fm pro. If you can spare the change, a single month is definitely enough time to fix up all your scrobbles. Idk if you use Apple Music or not, I just edit the tags of my albums & songs so that they don’t screw w my last.fm

I want them to release an extended version cause then I will only use that version instead of the individual singles! I'm doing the same with Dua's Complete Edition of the self-titled album (and I'm gonna do the same with her Future Nostalgia reissue too).

Just listened to the entire album for the first time and I'd say it's decent. Half of new tracks is truly destined to be a radio hit in Europe, it's this infectious Swedish pop sound. With that being said... I'm kinda afraid the best songs on here were released before as singles. Besides, I don't get how WOW made the cut and All The Time didn't - I love both of these tracks but the latter definitely has the advantage of fitting the album theme. Don't Worry Bout Me, Love Me Land and WOW would guarantee such a cohesive sound if they were together on another project. But still, these are just my personal thoughts, I totally see myself going back to this record and liking it more and more.

I ended up getting "Poster Girl". Solid release!. Before today I didn't know what was going on with it. lol I didn't care for the chorus of the current single but it's growing on me. I was mad they gave up on "Love Me Land" and went with "WoW". "LML" was one of my favorites of the year.. I've now warmed up to "WoW but at the time I was not happy. "Look What You've done gave me hope again. I loved it instantly. This release was still a pleasant surprise though. I normally don't complete my album on Itunes unless it's by a favorite. But his was a no brainer for me. Favorite tracks besides the ones already mentioned are "Right Here, Need Someone, Poster Girl and FFF" They all have a similar vibe light dance and carefree sounding. I also really like "Stick With You" even though her accent or the way she pronounces a few lyrics is a little different. It's good though. It's probably one of the more "US" sounding tracks on here. It's midtempo. The chorus is very catchy. The closing track isn't to bad. It's another midtempo song. Pretty good closer. Go Zara Larrson! I will be playing many songs on here for awhile.
Looking through my library I have her debut album and mostly everything she's released. It says I own 35 songs of her's.

Some really decent songs, but rollouts like this always leave me cold. Seeing what sticks, some standalone singles make it, some don't, no real unifying sound or vision beyond it being 'current' pop. The definition of manufactured (or at least VERY label driven).

I like her YouTube live today! Very solid performance.
My favorite cuts from her album: Look What You've Done Love Me Land Poster Girl WOW Right Here Need Someone FFF
"Don't Think Bout Me" and "All the Time" should've replaced "I Need Love" and "Stick with You".

This album is really cute! The single selection has been pretty poor imo, and there's no real reason why "Don't Worry Bout Me" and "All the Time" shouldn't be here. They fit in really well.

The album debuted at #3 in her home country Sweden and #12 in the UK.
So Good reached #1 and #7, respectively, in these two markets.
