As long as BS doesn't start to drop like a stone they should refrain to release this, because it could cause BS to lose a couple of more weeks at the top of the chart

I can't help to think about 22 last era, but reception for Style has been substantially more positive so I'm remaining optimistic that this will also become a huge hit.

this has nothing in common with 22 besides being 3rd single.

They should wait until January 26 or February 2 to send this for adds.

This should be a guaranteed smash. I've had it on repeat ever since I heard the snippet on the Target commercial. One of Taylor's best songs ever.

The overall theme of this and 22 imo is a bit feminine, it doesn't have a wide appeal as say shake and trouble

I don't think this would have the trouble that "22" had on the charts. It got mixed reactions from fans when "Red' was released back in 2012. "Style" doesn't have mixed reactions,Everybody who has listened to the album loves it and that includes Taylor's fans.
Just hope we don't jinx this and "Welcome To New York" becomes the 3rd single.

22 was such a massive bop. I still don't know what went wrong. It deserved to be #1.
One of her catchiest singles ever IMO.

Um... wow.
I also need a country-esque acoustic version of "Style" in my life right now!

Slowly climbing to #30 on Itunes. 27 hours of green updates after that billboard report of being 3rd single No music video, no radio support.
SMASH IS COMING

I think this will be the biggest song of 2015. Or at least I hope that's the case.

My local CHR station (WBLI on Long Island) played this today, right after "Blank Space". Looks like it's going to be another huge hit.

This will most definitely be another smash for her. She should release "Bad Blood" after this.

I literally can't with the "Bad Blood" bandwagoning.
Taylor has enough quality material that she doesn't need to release Bad Blood.

I really like the production of "Style" but I can tell I'm going to tire of the song quite quickly. I don't think it's going to be as massive as some are predicting, but it's most certainly going to outperform "22".

In addition to the one Austin posted above, this is another cool cover:
It's interesting how many males are covering this.

"Bad Blood" is a okay song but to me it honestly doesn't scream "Single" to me.
I can see "All you had to do was stay" doing great on pop radio! I think it's also an underrated track on 1989.

I don't care what anyone says, and I'm probably in the minority, but I would just love it if "I Wish You Would" would be released. That one is SO good!

All of the tracks being mentioned are nice, but "Stay" and "Wish" are more in the same vein as "22." Great songs, but more middle-of-the-road radio filler type singles. Great to keep an era going, but when your album has six guaranteed smashes ("Shake It Off," "Blank Space," "Style," "Out of the Woods," "Bad Blood," and "Wildest Dreams") then those middle-of-the-road radio filler singles aren't needed.
*Note that "radio filler" is not the same as "album filler." I believe 1989 doesn't have any album filler, but it does have "radio filler."

The thought of other people liking a song I deem bad... Unthinkable. It's not about liking or disliking Bad Blood. It's a good, quality song. But I'm sorry, it's not on the level of stuff like Out of the Woods and Wildest Dreams, and when you're Taylor Swift, why go for the most basic choice? Releasing Bad Blood is something Katy Perry would do.

I personally think "Stay" and "Wish" have more potential than something like "Wildest Dreams".
