Great choice for the second single! I could have also seen the value in pushing "Underneath The Tree" for another year, but it also makes sense to get something completely new out there. I hope this does well, and drives sales for another year.

The Idina-Buble duet is nice and has momentum and double star power, but it feels a little gimmicky to me. We'll see what staying power it has. WIR has the advantage of being an original song that doesn't have to compete with other classic versions of the same song. |

The transitions in the video seemed like someone used Windows Movie Maker. Horrible direction on that one.
It would have been so cute to see a video of Kelly and Brandon re-enacting the scene from Love Actually, getting married, and then showing River swaddled in red blankets....
But alas we get a video having nothing to do with love or the song lyrics...

Not even close. With only 2 weeks until Christmas, I just don't see this catching Idina Menzel's single. That's ok, though, #2 peak with a second single off a year old album. |

Finished the season at #2 on AC with 828 spins and 3.169 AI.
"Underneath the Tree" finished #3 on AC when adding in recurrents with 789 spins and 4.627 AI. Other include "Please Come Home for Christmas" at #26 with 328/1.776, "I'll Be Home for Christmas" at #68 with 125/0.753, and "Blue Christmas" at #74 with 120/0.492.
