Thanksgiving is November 27, but WJDX-FM (105.1 The River) has already gone all-Christmas. (I did hear that The River will return to its '70s & '80s-music format December 26.)

On November 5 (shortly after 12 PM?), WJDX-FM has once again gone all-Christmas. (But the station will return to the '70s and '80s December 26.)

It came as no surprise that 105.1 The River has had gone all-Christmas this afternoon.
But the station will return to the '70s and '80s Monday, December 26.

I agree, but all-Christmas music, Christmas preparations, and commercials using Santa Claus or something else relating to Christmas start earlier each year. www.stationintel.com/specials.aspx says 36 stations have gone all-Christmas so far, and the first station to go all-Christmas was KCAX-AM in southern Missouri (not near a big city) on October 3. Based on all-Christmas lists I've seen in the past, I'm guessing that of all the stations that will go all-Christmas for at least a week, at least a quarter of them will go all-Christmas before Thanksgiving. Of the 36 stations to go all-Christmas so far, 15 are in the Top 100 radio markets. 10 of those 15 stations are regular and 5 are HD2.
