Week 4 Trivia Question: Name the only artist(s)/band in Hot 100 history to have their first 2 debut singles hit #1. Guess I must be the only one that noticed this I think the answer is Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

But Can't Hold Us is, no? that one also reached #1...two years after it came out, yes, but it still did eventually reach #1. Unless they had other singles before that...

Unless they had other singles before that... Can't Hold Us was the third single, then "Same Love", then "Thrift Shop". All of these were re-serviced to Pop radio after "Thrift Shop" went viral, but their first two singless (My Oh My and Wings) didn't even chart on the Hot 100.

So then I guess by debut hits he meant first songs to actually chart (excluding the Bubbling Under chart)

Hope you all have a Happy New Year tomorrow (or today). So, after 2 months of running the chart in this format, I have noticed a trend in the Personal Charts category. Over half of the songs in the top 75 currently boast a PS of 90 or better. As you all may recall, the maximum score a song can get in the PS category is 100. Well, going into this week as I await the Hot 100 scores for Week 5, 11 songs maxed out the PS score. And in Week 4, the difference between 2 and 7 was 6 points. So... to give a certain song the rank it deserves, here's what I had in mind: Give a certain song a bonus of up to 10 in the PS category, but ONLY if it maxes out the category. For example, Uptown Funk is 1 of 11 songs that maxed out the category, and let's assume this was the first week it did so. The week after, if it maxed it out again, THEN it qualifies for the bonus of up to 10. It will receive that bonus until its PS drops to anything below 100.
If I am to add this bonus to the formula for the JL44's Top 44, this would take effect next week. What do you all think of it? Fair? Unfair? Let me know, and as usual, thank you!
