So nice to see I Took A Pill In Ibiza atop! :) Also happy with Don't Let Me Down rising to the Top 3 and One Dance rocketing to Top 10! Also nice tribute to Prince. Great chart!

Can only second trustypepper's comment. (Wanted to post exactly the same sentence... #ESP :) ) The chart looks great all in purple... ! Nice to see James Bay in your chart and Disturbed moving up one notch! Well done! :)

I'm so excited, "Lush Life" is approaching the Top 10! Sad about "7 Years" though. I loved the Prince tribute as well. Simple and respectful.

Intro: And then there were two in the race to 40... let's talk about that.soundcloud.com/free-intro-music/lino-rise-intro-what-everestHello folks and welcome back to the chart. I am still on my short hiatus from the forum, but even though I'm still offline, the show must go on and that is why MTSChart21 is posting for me this week. So here we go, into Week 20 of this tracking period, and the 10th week of the spring.
For eight straight weeks, the songs in the Top 2 never left the region, but that could all end next week. Leading the chart for a 4th week is Mike Posner's "ITAPII" and at #2 is Lukas Graham with "7 Years." Both go down 6 points, widening the gap even further between the competition.
Up 3 points, but staying at #3, are The Chainsmokers' "Don't Let Me Down," featuring Daya, and up a spot to #4 with a huge gain in points is Disturbed with "The Sound of Silence." With the Top 2 declining, and 3-4 six to eight points away, the stage could be set for a summit takeover as early as next week. The odds currently rest in favor of Silence as it is gaining faster, but we'll see if they can keep this pace up. Closing out the Top 5 is Nick Jonas' "Close," featuring Tove Lo, as it rises 6-5.
In addition to Close as a contender for a future #1, Drake's "One Dance," featuring Nyla and Wizkid, joins the list as they rise 8-6. Zara Larsson also joins the new race as she scores her second Top 10 and rises 14-8 with "Lush Life," making up for her 4-7 drop with "Never Forget You," including MNEK.
Closing out the Top 10 is Ariana Grande down 7-9 with "Dangerous Woman" and up 15-10 is Justin Bieber with "Company," giving Bieber his sixth Top 10 from "Purpose." This now leaves him one Top 10 from "Purpose" away from tying T-Swift's record of seven Top 10's, set just a few weeks ago when "New Romantics" peaked at #10.
In other news, "All My Friends" goes up 16-12 and P!nk's "Just Like Fire" goes up 17-13. Three songs debut with the highest honor going to Calvin Harris' "This is What You Came For," featuring Rihanna. Wow at me accidentally putting the 7 Years spotify link instead of ITAPII! (At least I fixed it :) ) Anyways, sad to see "Never Forget You", "Work From Home", "Ride", and "Youth" dropping :( Glad to see "Lush Life", "One Dance" and "Close" rise! Also, I hope "Don't Let Me Down" can be the next #1!

Wow at #'s 1 & 2 clinging at the top for such a long time. Housecleaning upcoming? Like this Disturbed will never get to #1. :) FGL makes quite an impact for a song released 4 days ago. ;)

Thanks for the offer of being tagged, but I'm already on multiple lists and yet fail to visit my friend's threads on a regular basis... [I'm such a lazy b@st@rd] ;)

There's a cosmic bowling event on Monday night, and that might be the deciding factor as to whether or not DLMD can pull it off. Wow at #'s 1 & 2 clinging at the top for such a long time. Housecleaning upcoming? Like this Disturbed will never get to #1. :) FGL makes quite an impact for a song released 4 days ago. ;) Thanks. Yes, it is coming.

Intro: I need you, I need you, I need you to see the new #1. soundcloud.com/free-intro-music/lino-rise-intro-what-everestHello and welcome back to the chart. Well, I had a good break from the forum and now it's time to resume what I do best here: keeping the Top 44 updated and fun to follow. But that's not the big story this week, it's who on top and that belongs to The Chainsmokers as they rise 3-1 with "Don't Let Me Down," featuring Daya. The 40th summit leader's takeover this week is fueled by offline popularity, but not from the bowling alley as I expected it to be. Still, it's enough to give it the lead. With Down on top, it brings Mike Posner's "Ibiza" down 1-2, but only down 2 points. The difference now is two points, but should DLMD's surge be short lived, Ibiza might have one last chance to lead. Probably won't happen though...
For the first time in its life on the chart, Disturbed's "The Sound of Silence" fails to gain this week. Still, it rises 4-3, giving Disturbed their first Top 3 hit. Even with the rise, its chances at #1 may be dashed as Drake bolts 6-4 with "One Dance," featuring Nyla and Wizkid. The trio's song doubles in points, giving it the lead in the race for the chart's 41st leader given the current projections. Closing out the Top 5 is Lukas Graham as he loses a lot of points and begins his downfall with "7 Years," falling 2-5.
Down 5-6 is Nick Jonas' "Close," featuring Tove Lo, which loses 4 points and gaining those 4 points while moving up a spot to #7 is Zara Larsson with "Lush Life." Zara's former #3 single, "Never Forget You" with MNEK, falls 7-10 this week as well.
It looks like OD is on pace to scoring the next #1, but two songs could be well on their way to the top. Up 20-8 this week is Calvin Harris' "This is What You Came For," featuring Rihanna, mainly due to strong gains in all 3 metrics. Ironically, exactly one year ago, Major Lazer, DJ Snake, and MO bolted up 20-5 with "Lean On" for almost the exact same reason. That would go on to score 2 weeks at the summit as well as a #3 finish on the '15 YE chart. Also scoring a strong start in the metrics is Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling!" which debuts at #9.

YAY for DLMD!!! Still sad to see Ride falling (especially when it's resurging on my chart) :( Anyways, great debut for CSTF! and I'm glad to see Lush life and One Dance gaining!

Thanks. YAY for DLMD!!! Still sad to see Ride falling (especially when it's resurging on my chart) :( Anyways, great debut for CSTF! and I'm glad to see Lush life and One Dance gaining! I'm letting Ride decline because the song has a med-high burn rate even though its mainstream popularity is rising. This song ain't dead yet though. And thanks for the complements on the others.

Intro: #41? Almost completely locked in. #42? A two way battle it seems.soundcloud.com/free-intro-music/lino-rise-intro-what-everestHello and welcome back to the chart. We are in the 22nd week of the tracking period and one week remains until the Spring Tournament. Because the summer tracking period begins on June 1 and ends August 31, we will be seeing an extra week in the Summer 2016 tracking period, something you won't see again until 2022. I probably won't be here then anyways, since the start of my business life is just about a year away...
To the chart we go and starting off is The Chainsmokers' "Don't Let Me Down," featuring Daya, as it stays a second week at #1 and doesn't budge in points. I sense the beginning of its downfall starting next week, as it barely held on this week. Bolting up two spots and six points is Drake's "One Dance," featuring Wizkid and Kyla, as it rises 4-2 this week. I don't even need to add a race section this week b/c this has at least a 90% chance of scoring the 41st lead next week. Its pending reign however, like most songs, will be short as its competition is shooting high up the chart. Falling 2-3 this week is Mike Posner's "Ibiza," now scoring its 13th straight week in the Top 3 and a 6x Platinum ranking.
To close out the Top 5, two songs come charging up four spots and scoring 10 points each in the process. Up 8-4 is Calvin Harris' "This is What You Came For," featuring Rihanna, and up 9-5 is Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling!" Calvin scores his first Top 5 since "Blame" a year and a half ago and JT scores his first Top 5 since "Mirrors," when it peaked at #2 nearly three years ago. With both songs rising at the same fast pace, the race for the 42nd summit leader will become interesting to watch...
Had it not been for #4 and #5, Zara would be looking at her second straight Top 5 right now, but it could happen as she rises a spot to #6 with "Lush Life." Her four point gain also helps should she continue gaining from there. Both her Top 10's still remain in that region as she stays put at #10 with "Never Forget You," including MNEK. Of course, sacrifices had to be made for our new competiton, and you'll be seeing the result in spots 7-9 this week. Down 3-7 is Disturbed's "The Sound of Silence," down 6-8 is Nick Jonas' "Close," featuring Tove Lo, and down 5-9 is Lukas Graham's former 5 week #1 "7 Years."
P!nk rises 13-11 this week with "Just Like Fire" and Grace flies 23-17 with "You Don't Own Me," featuring G-Eazy. Debuting at #18 this week is One Republic and their latest "Wherever I Go."

lol at the "Summer" re-entry Exactly one year ago, I did the same thing to mark the beginning of my summer break. It's kinda like AIWFCIY, peeping in every season for a week or two. Great to see DLMD #1 and CSTF in top 5! rooting for Lush Life as well! Both songs are very well alive, thanks for commenting. I hope Stressed Out will become Diamond! Anyways, CSTF in the top 5! One Dance in the top 2! Longevity will be the deciding fate for SO's finish. You can expect to see one of the other two peak on top too.

Intro: New #1, and a two way race for #43. soundcloud.com/free-intro-music/lino-rise-intro-what-everestHello and welcome back to the chart. Three weeks to go until I present the mid-year charts and currently, we are in the process of completing the Spring tournament. I had a good 22nd birthday, and I almost ran into a van yesterday because she cut me off. Good news is I'm fine, bruised, but not hurting. Starting off at #1 is Drake's "One Dance," featuring Kyla and Wizkid, as they rise 2-1, marking the chart's 42nd #1. They go up four points, but do not boast a comfortable lead as of now due to competition being both 8 points away. Up 4-2 and 5-3 respectively is Calvin Harris' "This is What You Came For," featuring Rihanna, and Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling!" They both rise 8 points, keeping the race close together for #43.Falling 3-4 is Mike Ponser's "I Took a Pill in Ibiza" and after reigning 2 weeks on top, The Chainsmokers fall 1-5 with "Don't Let Me Down," featuring Daya. Staying put at #6 and posting all 6's on the chart this week is Zara Larsson's "Lush Life." Two new songs enter the Top 10 this week, the first being Grace as she soars 17-7 with "You Don't Own Me," featuring G-Eazy. The other is P!nk as she rises 11-10 with "Just Like Life." Staying put at #8 is Nick Jonas with "Close," featuring Tove Lo and down to #9 is Disturbed's "The Sound of Silence."One Republic soars 18-12 in its 2nd week, and leading the debuts this week is Ariana Grande's latest "Into You."One Year Ago Today:
