I know I won't make people happy with this take. I think Carrie Underwood "Mama's Song" is a very underrated song and I think it gets hated on way more than it should be imo. Omg, thank you! I'm not really a Carrie fan, but this one song just really struck a chord with me. It's one of the few Carrie Underwood songs that I like, and I listen to it over and over again. It's bizarre, but I guess that's the way the world works. People have different tastes in music.

I genuinely feel the only good album Miranda has ever put out is Revolution.
Her ‘acclaim’ scores for Four the Record & Platinum are mind boggling, and The Weight of These Wings has so much filler on it. I always wonder how country responded so well to her music, yet artists like Lauren Alaina, Cam and even now Carly Pearce have struggled to become country staples.

I like it too, the production on it is pretty. I feel the same as well! It’s simple, but I find it very true to Carrie as a person. I find it very pleasant. Granted, I still wouldn’t have released it as a single, and I think the fact that it was released over other possible songs from “Play On” is why it has such a bad rep.

I don’t care for Cody Jinks voice. He’s just very out of tune all the time to me.

"I'll Go On Loving You" is one of Alan Jackson's best singles.

"I'll Go On Loving You" is one of Alan Jackson's best singles. I agree with this, and I'll get even more controversial: Like Red on a Rose is my favorite Alan Jackson album, and the title track is among his very best singles.

I really like "Drivin' Around Song" by Colt Ford and Jason Aldean, not gonna lie lol.
The verses are passable but that chorus is such an earworm -- one of the best melodies I've heard in recent years. It also brings back nostalgic memories of the summer of 2013 and hanging with my friends and co-workers.

I don't care for "Drinking Alone" by Carrie Underwood, something about the production and vocals just don't work well together when I listen to the song on the radio.

I don't know if this has been brought up before (I did not take the time to read through 39 pages), but I have always thought Garth Brooks was way overrated. Sure I think he is a good singer. In fact, I like most of his music. I just feel he has never been the superstar he is made out to be. He was a good solid 90's artist, whose career should have ended (or at least greatly cooled down) at the end of the 90s or the beginning of the 00s. Just my opinion.

Laura Veltz has become one of my most disliked songwriters in the business because her melodies are so easily recognizable bad (country) pop due to the sameness, like her works with Dan + Shay, Maren Morris and Maddie & Tae, who could deliver better songs if they did not decide to work with her.

I have nothing against Eric Church and enjoy some of his songs, but I feel like some people really overrate him and his music. I also think his older stuff is better by far.

Country music have sounded too much pop sound where the autotune made them sound like rap/hip hop beats. Jon Pardi released "Ain't Always A Cowboy" without the autotune which made the song much more enjoyable.

The album that never ends... I mean 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT: THE ANTHOLOGY' out now!

I love Miranda Lambert but I feel like she keeps releasing the same album over and over again. She spiced it up a bit with Mess with My Head on Wildcard but I just feel like it isn't enough. We'll see if her sound continues to evolve.

Been a while since this thread was brought up but I figured might as well bring it back so here are a few of mine.
None of Carrie Underwood's music since her Greatest Hits album in 2015 I have found good with only "Dirty Laundry" having a little bit of replay value. She is still a talented vocalist but I prefer how her voice sounded in her early albums compared to now.
Of all the new females that have recently came onto the scene in the last couple of years, I love Priscilla Block the most and so much as I find her super funny on social media, and her music to be very great imo and I love how successful "Just About Over You" has been for her and I think/hope she has a bright future ahead of her, despite her being one of the lesser liked female artists here.
I will never get the love and hype for Ryan Hurd, I like "Chasing After You" but that is moreso due to Maren Morris than anything to do with Ryan Hurd.
