I never realized how successful Flo Rida was this decade, he has 6 too. 7 if Good Feeling was included.

Mid-week update: I'm slowly improving the list to be as accurate as possible. I'm currently working on importing chart runs that started in 09 that rockgolf and I may have missed. I've also expanded the number of songs I'm tracking, which you will all see in the next update :) For the 09 songs, you just need to track Tik Tok, NYN, HSS, and Bad Romance.

Think of where Old town road would have ended up if it had a whole year to chart for the 2010’s list ...

Here's how songs on this week's Hot 100 would look on an all-time Billboard Top 10,000 list for the week of August 17, 2019.
Sunflower leaps into the all-time top 100 and jumps over Without Me in the process. Old Town Road is probably about a month away from getting there.

It doesn't look like anything from this year other than OTR is even close to making the Top 100 of all time, though, aside from the two songs that are already there. Sicko Mode would've made it, obviously, without the 52-25 rule, though.

I got a private message asking me what are the biggest hits to peak at every position from #1 to #100 on the Billboard Hot 100, using the all-time algorithm, and I think it's interesting enough to share with everyone:

It doesn't line up particularly well, but you can import it to a spreadsheet and split based on the "|" character.
The weird thing to me is that 7 Canadian acts are featured, rather disproportional to the general chart ratio: #12, #14, #24, #52 , #55, #70, & #98 (Chilliwack).

Nice work; I think it's pretty impressive that a song that peaked at #40 and #44 managed to rack up more than 100,000 points given the way the all-time algorithm works.

This was the last week that any new song on the chart would have any possible chance of making the decade end list. Since no song even debuted in the top 10 and there are now only 13 weeks left, looks like the only songs that can potentially make the list are already close. (13 weeks at #1 = 676,000 points, just shy of making the list).
I think Sucker and Bad Guy will make the list, bad guy will do so in a few weeks, Sucker might take a bit longer to do so. Other than that, the only ones that have any chance are Talk, I Don't Care, and Senorita. I have a gut feeling that Senorita will be just shy of making the list but its still certainly possible. For Talk and IDC, it can happen but I highly doubt it.

I know I haven't, but I'd listen to this spotify list if someone made one A complete one can't be done, because #44 isn't available anywhere but on YouTube as an amateur audio of the original song. Jaya was a Filipino singer who had that one almost-hit that hung around forever but never made top 40, and in North America, she was never heard of again. I know several of the low ones. Chilliwack's Crazy Talk was a much bigger hit in Canada. Hello Stranger had earlier been a hit for Barbara Lewis and later a hit for Yvonne Elliman.

It's interesting to see that What About Me is the biggest song to have peaked at 29 for its 1983 run but also the biggest to peak at 46 for its comeback run.

This might not count, cause I think these are original chart runs, but didn't "My Boo" by the Ghost Town DJ's have a new peak of 27 in 2016 due to the running man challenge meme and technically not have it's peak at 31?

It looks like they have separate point totals so hopefully it’s the proper amount, as that would be some cool chart trivia.

It's interesting to see that What About Me is the biggest song to have peaked at 29 for its 1983 run but also the biggest to peak at 46 for its comeback run. Update: I've looked it up and, yep, the runs are separate! But for the all-time list, separate chart runs are combined (or else Smooth would be #1 among the number ones). So What About Me has a spectacular total of over 236,000. And since it didn't peak at #46 in the combined runs, the Gary Toms Empire disco classic 7-6-5-4-3-2-1 (Blow Your Whistle) is the new bigggest #46 hit ever.
The original list has been updated.

rockgolf - As in the example of "What About Me", your #77 song by Synch was re-released 3 years later and peaked all the way up at #10, thus 2 separate runs and not a true "# 77".

It was re-labelled Jimmy Harnen with Synch but was the same recording, and hence a #10 song. (The points shown are legit for the earlier release.)
That make the real top #77 song Jane's Getting Serious by Jon Astley. Presumably no relation to Rick. I'll fix the original post.

Billboard's Decade End 80s and 90s are 500 songs. You guys think they'll do that for 2010s also?

propanda I don't think the top 500 lists existed until they were broadcast on Sirius XM a few months ago. But I'm sure between tanooki and myself, we can put a top 500 together.

I have no idea what they will do. Considering they did the top 600 songs of all time for the 60th anniversary, it is totally possible that they go crazy for the end of the decade.

^If they chose to do the top 1000, that'd be great.
