Thanks for calculating the Billboard all-time 100 song list. Billboard is charging to view it.

Truth Hurts will be cutting it close to make the decade end list but it should do it. Outside of that no other songs have a chance at this point.
Thoughts on bad guy's chances at making the all time list? At the rate it's going I think it's probably gonna get there

At the rate it's going I think it's probably gonna get there At this point Truth Hurts is a guarantee to make the list, not just the top 100, but the top 80. Bad Guy probably won't make the all time list unfortunately, since it's close to leaving the top 10 and it still has, relatively, a long way to go in terms of how many points #11-#50 give.

So you're right, it has a chance to make it but only if it falls slowly.

After a couple of weeks of absolutely no demand whatsoever, I'm posting where songs on this week's songs (October 19, 2019) would appear if Billboard updated their all-time Top 600 list and expanded to a Top 10000. (The usual Last Week value is actually from 3 weeks ago.)
This -3

What song is currently in the #500 spot for the decade? I'm curious to know what songs would be right on the cut off since for the 1980's countdown from earlier in the year the songs around #500 all peaked around 4-5.

I'm curious to know what songs would be right on the cut off since for the 1980's countdown from earlier in the year the songs around #500 all peaked around 4-5. At present, #500 is A$$ Back Home by Gym Class Heroes, and most songs around that position peaked outside the top ten.

Keep in mind that the 80's and 10's charts are very different from each other.
In the 80's, many songs could peak in the top five and stay there for some time due to the insanely fast turnover rate in that period.
In the 10's, however, the top few slots are being held up by the same few songs for a longer time period. This means that, with the exception of album bombs, most moderate hit songs (those that could make around #30-#40 on YE) don't usually peak in the top ten anymore.

Hey, if "7 rings" cannot end up at #7 in the 2019 YE, then ending at #77 in the 2010s decade-end can be a nice alternative.

"Sunflower" may need to stay for 5 more weeks if it wants to end at #10, and in the same case for "Old Town Road" for a possible Top 5 placement.

I think there's no chance for Sunflower, If it stays at #19 for 5 weeks, that's like 1,190,000-1,195,000 points. Also, it'd be great to see at least two female songs in the top 10.

Is “OTR” going to surpass “We Found Love”? 😣
It’s the ‘H100 Female Song of the Decade’ but still...
I wanted it to stay at #5 or #6.

Hey, if "7 rings" cannot end up at #7 in the 2019 YE, then ending at #77 in the 2010s decade-end can be a nice alternative. Given that Truth Hurts probably will pass it and Sucker probably won't, that's pretty likely.

The difference between We Found Love and Old Town Road is that one peaked with around 40,000 points, while the other peaked with over 100,000. If I had to choose which song would represent this decade more it's kinda obvious........

If I had to choose which song would represent this decade more it's kinda obvious........ 1) That’s not what I asked! 2) Moreover, why are you comparing the chart points between “OTR” and “WFL”? The latter sold +5.8M pure units in the U.S.A and +13M pure units WW. How much has “OTR” sold to date? “WFL” also spent 12 weeks at number one atop U.S radio and is eligible for 11x Platinum. Above all else, the song itself is hugely representative of early 2010’s culture and harbours massive cultural impact across a variety of facets. “OTR” peaking with over 100K points is irrelevant especially when a large portion of its chart run benefited from YouTube streams. 😕

Let's compare WFL to a song like RITD: RITD peaked in sales with 350K in a given week. Even if WFL sold more to date, the point is is that only the sales, streaming, and radio put in a given chart run matters. We Found Love peaked a little over 200K. Also, when you compare the points the #1 song had in 2011 across all 53 weeks, you will find that We Found Love logged in some of the weakest weeks at #1 on the top, because they're weren't any huge debuts or songs with huge weeks. Also, "culture impact" and "perception" and such have really nothing to do with how big the song was. Because we're talking about the charts, not about cultural impact. It's a medium sized hit that logged in a huge chart run due to lack of competition in the eras.

You decided to carry the conversation into that of a comparison to between both songs when that had NOTHING to do with what I asked. I couldn’t give a s**t what the chart run of “WFL” was like and whether or not you think it was a ‘big, medium or small’ hit. The fact remains: • The sold sold 5.8M pure units in the U.S & 13M pure units WW. • The song spent 12 weeks at #1 atop U.S radio. • The song is eligible for 11x platinum in the U.S. • The song spent 10 weeks at #1/23 weeks in the top 10 in the U.S. • Is #27 on the all-time charts. By your logic, “OTR” was also ‘bigger’ than “RITD” because the former had a peak of over 100K points and the latter didn’t.
