Yea this has really grown on me, especially the verses. I wonder what they're gonna do promo-wise. How exactly is she gonna perform at the Grammys if she isn't nominated? I hope this also gets a lyric video. Maybe even video teasers?

I think she and her team are going to promote the hell out of the single and the album - the traditional way and more. She is out to slay with a vengeance . A big grower of a song for me too. The song is too good to be ignored by radio. Who cares if she's 56 years old. She rules still.

SPRΞΞ- see Madonna at the 2006 Grammys. :)
I hold little faith in radio- for the track to find an all-things-considered semi-decent chart placement, it will come down to streaming and sales.
josh- it is a similar theme to "Believe," except in that track, it's mostly about that specific situation, and not as uplifting/celebratory about the post-breakup future.

It will be interesting to see how the queen of music video from the MTV generation does on Vevo. When is the release date for the video?
The best scenario would be a Grammy performance then releasing the video the following Tuesday. That would give the song a nice peak on the hot 100 from streaming.

Out of the Top 200 on iTunes. The sole Rebel Heart track still appearing in the Top 200 is "Bitch I'm Madonna" at #174. It's little surprise that there appears to be the most interest in a track featuring the younger Onika Tanya Maraj. The chances of radio success for the 56-year-old Madonna Louise Ciccone are slim, but she will likely be a top touring act in 2015. :)

Chances of a big radio hit were slim before anything came out….that being said it is still to early worrying about iTunes etc when the single has not been officially serviced, promoted etc.
Im more concerned about her having good album sales and for a veteran artist that will depend on buzz and critical reaction. If the word is that madonna has delivered a great album and she promotes well , the album will do well i believe.

An adds date is scheduled for January . What kind of promotion is used is a factor. Guy O says that there will be promotion for the single and video will be released first week of February.

The following radio stations have played "Living for Love" KMXV Kansas City Oh wow, how awesome that one of the pop stations in my city has been one of the first to play it.  I hope that I hear it on the radio here. |

With them planning to drop the video the first week of February, that probably will be when the push kicks in. Video, Grammys performance, possible release of mixes, etc.
Airplay will be the least relevant factor among the three components that drive the Hot 100.

I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if it reached top 20 at top 40 radio. Album buzz won't hurt, but it's a tough road at pop, even for its biggest hitmaker of the last three decades.

This is so great. She should promote this as much as possible who cares about age. Everyone I played this for during my Christmas holidays was impressed even the ones that didn't really like her. This is a total bop and its not generic at all. If it falters at radio its likely because of the age thing but she should try alternate ways outside of radio to make this the hit it is.
I love all 5 of the tracks she released. This is shaping up to be one of her best albums.

A radio promo/deal would be unorthodox- aren't those usually for music that has yet to premiere?
