Chart Notes: - Thank you, josh, for posting my charts while I was away
 - After a month in runner-up, Saint Motel finally moves to #1.
- A mostly stagnant chart, as 1/3 of the songs hold their position. No songs debut this week.
 This week's retro chart isn't a retro chart at all - it's from my son, who spontaneously told me his top 5 songs. As for the Little Einsteins at #1, I have no idea.  Apparently, he thinks it's funny to sing it with one of his friends at school, so its been in his head a lot lately.  [/quote] |

Chart Notes: - Biscuits becomes the first song to return to #1 since Habits did it exactly a year ago.
- Zedd leads three debuts, and is his first appearance on the chart since he was featured on Ariana Grande's Break Free. His only other appearance weas leading on "Clarity."
- Janelle Monae notches her 7th top 10 on the chart.
 This week's retro chart goes all the way back to 2002! This was in the midst of an epic reign by women - the longest in this chart's history. For 26 weeks, no men would hit #1. The string started with Ashanti's "Foolish" in April of that year and carried through to Kelly CLarkson's "A Moment Like This" in October. Bonnie Raitt would move to #1 the following week. "I Can't Help You Now" was the first of six #1s.  |

Yay @ "Biscuits" returning to the top!!  And I love that the Shakira duet is Top 2. Next Number One hit?! Nice to also see "The Night Is Still Young" debuting! Love the flashback to "Underneath Your Clothes" being at #1, too. One of my favorite songs. Such a beautiful vocal. <3 |

Chart Notes: - Hello from Belize! It is about 6Am and in the 70s right now so I can do this without missing air conditioning.
- Shakira nabs her 4th #1. Her others include Whenever, Whatever, Underneath Your Clothes, and She-Wolf. This is the first year in which two Spanish songs have hit #1.
- Nicki Minaj continues to move up the all-time list. Hey Mama is her 16th top ten. Four of those are features.
 It is time for 2003. Apparently, I was in the midst of some 1980s realness. Atomic Kitten's "The Tide is High" from the Lizzie McGuire movie moved to #1, and right behind 1980s band The Bangles were at #2 with a remake of an Elvis Costello song. The Bangles actually would hit the top ten again six years later with a remake of Pat Benatar's "We Belong."  |
