I'm so happy that they've had so much success in the past year and I hope it continues with Origins. Believer and Thunder top 10, Natural coming. And Zero is pretty good, considering it's a song for a kid's movie soundtrack.

Feels like Evolve just dropped. Evolve released June 2017. It's been 16 months.

Album is out!! Should have no problem debuting at #1. Any thoughts on how much it will move, SPS and Sales?

Great album. Has a lot of different sounds, should be full of hits for them.

Obsessed with Only. The rest didn’t stick with me as muc, but there were a few highlights.

Wildly disappointed in this. The only two songs I really liked from this were "Bad Liar" and "Cool Out". There's only a few bad songs here ("Machine", "Bullet in a Gun", and "Digital"), but everything else is just mediocre. I don't really see hits on this album at all.

Only is the best song on the album. Everything else ranges from okay to bad.

So far 63 on Metacritic (their highest score there) and 3.5 stars on AllMusic.

Ugh they skipped out Walking on Wire for this? The only songs I actually like are Natural, Bad Liar, Zero, and maybe Only. They could keep the rest.

Spotify US first day: #25 Bad Liar #40 Natural #117 Machine #151 Boomerang #153 Zero #182 Cool Out
Tbh I was expecting to see all the songs from standard edition debuting so it was a little disappointing to me. Let's see how they perform during the week. Speaking about worldwide numbers, Origins had a better performance, with Bad Liar and Natural hitting #12 and #13. Also West Coast, Bullet in a Gun and Only debuted on top 200.

I actually really like the album. This may be the first time where I can truly hear Dan Reynolds feeling every word, with his wife and his faith.

I just feel like Imagine Dragons has one long album. They never progress.

Well, my first impressions of the album: I like that they tried to be more experimental with this album in comparison to Evolve. Sometimes it was good (West Coast, one of the best songs of the album) but other times it was a mess (Digital, who has an incredible chorus but the sound is the terrible). Personally I think this album is better than the last, however it's nowhere close to the first two, specially Night Visions.
Speaking about my favorite tracks: Natural, Bad Liar, West Coast, Zero, Only and Birds.

Hits is predicting 85-95k total, 55-65k sales. Kane Brown is predicted to be #1, with 125-150k total activity predicted.

Pretty solid album. Not as good as Evolve or Night Visions, but I like it on first listen through. "Boomerang" and "Bad Liar" are probably my favorite tracks at the moment, but I'm sure that will change. The only track I will for certain never revisit is "Digital."

Wow. How were they able to jack The Lumineers/Of Monsters & Men so effortlessly, yet improve on it with "West Coast?" FLAWLESS EXECUTION. Single, please. Also, Boomerang and particularly Bad Liar really resonated with me and wrung emotion from me. Cool Out is dope and Zero is very peppy. Not surprised to see it's from a kid's movie, but yet, it's relatable. I really have come to appreciate these guys' style. It's consistent and I know they have their haters, but something about their music always sticks with me. But...I wrote this before I got to the last section of the album. As much as it pains me to say this, the album completely falls apart after Machine, though the spiral starts at Machine, for sure. Everything prior to that is up with their best work, so I am confused as to what happens. Also, the Target tracks are better than the last 4 songs on the proper album. Digital is indeed wretched and Love is not much better, sadly. This could have been an EP, ending with Bullet In A Gun, and it would have pretty great. As it stands, probably my least favorite of their albums and I consider myself a pretty big fan.
1. Bad Liar 2. Zero (this sounds so much like early Strokes mixed with The Cars...I LOVE IT) 3. West Coast 4. Natural 5. Bullet In A Gun 6. Boomerang 7. Cool Out
8. Machine 9. Birds 10.Burn Out
11. Real Life
12. Only
13. Stuck (what is that awful clicking that goes throughout the song? it ruins an otherwise not-bad song)
14. Love 15. Digital (whet.)

Current projection is a #2 debut with 86-91k SPS (59-64k sales).

So this album is full of highs, and very low lows. IMO nothing is on par with Whatever it Takes, Thunder, Believer, Walk the Wire, and I Don’t Know Why. Natural, Zero, Bad Liar (most of all), and Machine are close though. Digital may be the worst song they’ve ever recorded. If I’m being honest, I would have taken a fourth Evolve single over any of this. I’m rooting for them as always though and I think they have a couple of hits here.

You don’t like how they start off with a guitar and then immediately go into electronic sounds to symbolize our change in music and in life?

It doesn't matter the meaning behind it, if it sounds crappy, I ain't gonna use it.

Gotcha! It’s just everyone I’ve shown was impressed and intrigued by the song and for me I kinda liked it a lot after a few listens. But to each their own :)

Ok I guess my friends and I are the only outliers who think Bullet In A Gun and Digital are really cool additions to the album lol.
