Love this to the moon and back, hoping pop radio will have a good reception to the singles (I Bet My Life haven't even crossed over to Pop yet, btw). I'm expecting a 200k+ opening for this.

Heard "Shots" over the weekend as one of the Uber cars I rode in had it on his playlist. Really love that song!

Yeah, Shots is fantastic. It's funny. I got my best friend into them and she is MUCH more of a fan than I am. Like, I didn't even know when their new album was coming out. But, I have heard I Bet My Life when they performed on TV and was impressed. They are coming hard this time.

I like them. I think the only one I didn't like was "Polaroid". "I'm So Sorry" and "Friction" sound great.

Album leaked. I think I'm going to refrain from listening to the whole thing. I will, however, listen to "I'm So Sorry" because I can't resist lol.

Wow wow wow very solid album! Night Visions was one of my all-time have so this one isn't so far behind, I need more listen but overall very good.

I actually decided to listen just in case I didn't want to buy it since I still had some doubt. I think this is really good. Night Visions is better imo, but this is not too far behind. If the last four tracks were better, this would be a knockout. I felt after "Dream" it got a little stale. Favorites: "Shots", "Gold", "I'm So Sorry", "I Bet My Life", "Friction", "Dream" (this one is a masterpiece)

Are the Target deluxe songs worth the extra 4 bucks or whatever they're charging?

Are the Target deluxe songs worth the extra 4 bucks or whatever they're charging? I liked "Thief", but the other three were underwhelming imo. I'd just download "Thief" and not pay $4 for the rest. If you like the last four songs on the record, then maybe you'll like them actually.

Well, good. I bought it anyway and the clips I heard of the last few songs sounded nice so...I am excited!

Only on Polaroid and already better than their debut. They do stadium s**t so well and they are actually very talented. I legit don't understand negative criticism of them. I think those are the bitter critics who never get laid and hate anything with feeling. They are becoming one of my favorite bands.
Edit: I can see why they put out a deluxe with songs this strong. They are going to release a single from the deluxe and pull a Nicki Minaj. This album has everything and the kitchen sink. I mean...he is even pulling a mainstream Panda Bear mixed with Vampire Weekend on The Unknown. I can't. This band is immensely talented.

Omg, they never disappoint, this is pure gold, though Night Vision still rank #1 in my all-time favorite albums, but they do a really great job in almost making something as good as Night Vision here.

Projected to potentially edge out a #1 debut with 145-155k (160-170k SPS).
Night Visions debuted at #2 with 83k (2.43m / 4.14m TEA to date).[/quote]

This album can't touch "Night Visions," IMO. I like a few songs on it though.

I gave the album a quick listen and will return. It's not as instant as their first, but overall it's a natural progression from that and does expand their already large sonic reach. I can see it growing.

Are you going to see them at Barclay's? I'm going alone because all of my NYC friends say "they're too popular" or "too mainstream".
