I'm absolutely thrilled to see how high "Crazy Too" has gotten. It actually was able to reach #51 on the Mediabase chart last year (so close to the top 50), so it's nice to see it doing great somewhere.  |

I have decided I am going to watch your #1 video every week. Previously I would just look at your #1 song and acknowledge what it is in my head. But I need to get more cultured in the musical world outside of country!!! Lol. I did really enjoy that Taylor song. I haven't listened to anything from 1989 yet, mostly because I never really liked her when she was a country singer. But that was a very cool music video concept for "Wildest Dreams", and the song is definitely good! And then the Bieber song before it, WOAH, I was not expecting how HOT it was going to be at the beginning! Lol! Country videos are basically never like that! I do not think the concept for that video went over as well as Taylor's did, but it was definitely an enjoyable song too.
As far as the chart goes, it's wonderful seeing Reba busting into the top 10! Woohoo!! And Terri Clark is on the cusp!! Such an exciting position for both of them to be in :) I'm also loving that "Like I Do" is about to steamroller its way into the top 20, and that "Heartbeat" has just done the same into the top 30.

Chris Young becomes the first to score a #1 country hit of the new year with "I'm Comin' Over," unseating Taylor Swift after a week at the summit. Adele and Kelsea Ballerini hold strong in the Top 5 with their current smashes, while "Crazy Too" inches it's way into the threshold. Terri Clark breaks the Top 10 for the second time ever (last year she made it with "Some Songs") while Erica Nicole, Ariana Grande, and George Strait all move up into the Top 20. Carrie Underwood's "Heartbeat" continues its hot streak as it almost makes the Top 20 in only its fifth week on the charts. Meanwhile, the latest singles from One Direction and Maddie & Tae break into the Top 30 and the Top 40 welcomes Selena Gomez. After a lot of turnover last week, this time around only one spot opens up for a debut, which comes in the form of Alexandra Stan's "I Did It, Mama!"

If I may offer a song to suggest debuting, may I request "I Took a Pill in Ibiza?" Very good song imo. Regarding this week's chart, nice to see Confident almost top 10. |

After being bumped from the top spot, Taylor Swift returns to reclaim the throne for a second week with "Wildest Dreams." Adele and the female country songs continue to do well in the Top 10, while Demi Lovato and Ashley Monroe are the latest to reach the threshold. "Heartbeat" reaches the Top 20 in its sixth week on the charts, continuing to move quite quickly and a bit faster than its predecessor ("Smoke Break" made Top 20 in its ninth week). "Shut Up and Fish" cracks the Top 25, while Justin Bieber scores his second concurrently charting Top 30 hit with "Sorry." Joining him in the Top 30 for the first time are also the latest from Janet Jackson, Lauren Alaina, and Selena Gomez. "Real Men Love Jesus" has a great week as it jumps into the Top 40 and both Easton Corbin and Dustin Lynch move into the Top 40 as well. Three debuts come this week from newcomer country hopeful Maren Morris, veteran country star Lee Ann Womack's daughter Aubrie Sellers, and the latest offering from Shakira.

I am loving the progress of Terri Clark and Reba McEntire right now. If I had things my way, the two of them would never miss the top 10, regardless of their age and gender. And speaking of gender, look at all that girl power in the top 10! It's great to see Ashley Monroe in the top 10. I am also very happy with the progress Carrie Underwood is making lately with "Heartbeat". That song is an absolute smash  |

Taylor Swift once again rescinds the top spot, this time to Adele's "Hello," which ascends to the #1 position in her fifteenth chart week. Chase Bryant takes Chris Young's Top 10 spot this week to be the sole male artist in the top region of the chart that is currently dominated by girl power. Clare Dunn rebounds for a new peak at number 11, while Erica Nicole, Carrie Underwood, and Ariana Grande score nice jumps inside the Top 20, while Little Big Town and One Direction join them this week. It's a good week for country songs moving into the Top 40 as a total of four are able to make the move. Three of them are first-time visitors, too: Ashley Gearing, Ashley Campbell, and Dylan Scott, and the fourth is Sunny Sweeney, who scored a #1 hit last year with "My Bed." Maren Morris has a big week as she vaults 10 positions in her second chart week to be the Greatest Gainer. Chris Young's new duet with Cassadee Pope scores the week's highest debut, while K. Michelle, Jennifer Nettles, and Hilary Duff also make their way onto the chart.

Adele continues to reign at the top with the smash "Hello," leading the way in a Top 10 that perhaps for the first time (I'm assuming anyway) is completely and solely occupied by female artists as Chase Bryant got bumped from the #10 spot by Erica Nicole. Justin Bieber's "Sorry" continues to maneuver up the chart at a fast clip with it coming into the Top 20 this week. Michael Ray, Danielle Bradbery, and JoJo all grab their first career Top 30 hits while David Nail achieves his second. Due to a lack of anything falling off the chart this week, the bottom half remains pretty stagnant aside from a few songs trading places.

Kelsea Ballerini holds onto the top spot with "Dibs" for a second week, giving her 2 multi-week chart-toppers on my chart to date. The duo of Kacey Musgraves and Reba McEntire are hot on her tail though as they slide into the Top 3 this week. Nothing new makes the Top 10 this week though several songs see some movement within it with regards to their positioning. Michael Ray, Lauren Alaina, and Cassadee Pope all score their first solo Top 20 hits on my chart this week with nice gains for all three. A pair of duets from Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello and Sunny Sweeney & Brennen Leigh crack the Top 30 this week, while Jewel inches up one spot to get her first Top 40 hit. Adele's second single from the 25 album makes its way onto the chart as this week's sole debut in the #60 slot; she is concurrently still sitting in the Top 5 with smash hit "Hello," as well.

Nice to see Kelsea continue her success. I love the scene that the video automatically defaults to, with the white hard hat. She is just so cute :) Also, your entire top 10 is just phenomenal!! It is so nice seeing Reba in the top 3 again, and I hope she makes it all the way! It's a little disappointing to see Terri Clark continuing to fall, but a top 5 finish is nothing to sneeze at, and I am sure she will do plenty well on your chart in the future too :)

Demi Lovato gets a big surge to reach the top this week for the first time with "Confident," which trades spots with Kelsea's "Dibs," holding Kacey and Reba in their silver and bronze positions from last week. Justin Bieber reaches the Top 10 for the third time with "Sorry" (following the #4-peaking "Where Are U Now" and the #1 hit "What Do You Mean?"), while Dustin Lynch scores his first Top 20 hit with "Mind Reader." Maren Morris continues to move quick as she jumps into the Top 30 in her sixth week on the charts, while Dylan Scott joins her. Zayn's solo debut scores a 9-point leap into the Top 40 in only his third chart week, giving it Greatest Gainer honors. Oh wow, I just realized George Strait is almost in the top 10! I haven't even been noticing his progress for some odd reason. It's always a treat to see King George doing well :)
