I do wish they'd let us move on from Iggy's debut era already though, I know the album will only celebrate its first anniversary next month but we've waited so long for it and technically her first single dropped 2 years ago and with all thats happened in her career feels like it's been way longer. But maybe it's just me cuz I've been following her for a long while now so maybe new fans don't feel that way, I understand it's always good to go out there and perform/promote etc.

They should've just wrapped the era up with "Beg for It." At least that was a moderate hit. I don't see this affecting her much in the long run though, because I still think new music from a new album would be well-received by the GP.

I think they should've let people waiting a bit after BW (and a possible Work or CYL re-release late last year) so hype would build on its own for proper new Iggy material, instead of rushing the messy reissue with that weird strategy/"campaign", because she had a very big 2014 and especially if she/they were already planning a new album for 2015. That's kinda what Macklemore's been doing (however for a longer while clearly than what I'm saying abt Iggy tho) and we don't know how well that will work out... It's always good for all the new fans she gained last year to get more new music too so idk. Trouble just isnt that exciting in terms of chart hit potential imo, I wished it would've actually managed to debut on the Hot 100 but at least it's getting her name back on some international charts after BW because of the video.

But then again I've never managed any successful artists nor am I one so even if her upcoming stuff might feel pre-tainted to us I believe she should be fine if her second album's material is good, it's not like people aren't checking anyway.

The tour was literally just rescheduled yesterday tho If the song's quality was on par with her previous singles, they'd probably play it (more) since they already showed interest in Iggy music alone by adding it in the first place.
