Anyone know when Daryle Singletary's "There's A Little Country Left" album will be out on Itunes? The few articles I read said it would be released phyiscally AND digitally today. So far, nothing yet. And can't seem to find any other news on it. Maybe I'll check tomorrow when I go to buy Darius's album I came here to ask the same thing. It is available on iTunes in Canada though. Im wondering if they are holding off til tomorrow to release it on a Tuesday? Also does anyone know where to buy individual tracks from Arron Tippons 25 project? I heard an amazing song by him called "Without A Kiss" but I'm not springing for a $25 album especially when one of the two discs is just a rehashed Greatest Hits.

Yes, I'm quoting myself. But I'm just here to say that I've been listening to the advance from the label and It's miles better than the debut. There's a little bit of everything sonically on "Suffer In Peace" but it's a mostly tempo-driven affair. There are a few songs with percussive machines ("I Don't Even Want This Drink" being one). I have a feeling that "Withdrawls" should easily be the second single. It's a powerful, powerful ballad with some punk-like guitar playing and overall melody and a lyric that easily could crossover. "Suffer In Peace" is a great track. It might never be a single but it's definitely a COUNTRY song. As for "C.O.U.N.T.R.Y." It's not dissimilar from the LoCash song of the same name and certainly gets the album off on a good note. "Why We Live Here" could easily be the third single.

Tyler performed "Why We Live Here" on The Highway a few weeks back. It sounded like one of those radio-friendly type tunes that people like to relate too.

YESSSSSSSSS. I cannot wait! I feel like I've been waiting forever for new music, but maybe it's just because her last album flopped at radio. If only Black River could get it together with promoting her singles, because they've been able to do alright with some of Craig Morgan's singles and Kelsea Ballerini's debut single is doing quite well rn.

Martina McBride said on Y2Kountry today that she's taking a break in April but will start working on a brand new country album after her break. This would be her first album for Nash Icon.

102.1 (The Bull) lists Toby's 35 MPH Town being released on June 2nd ( here). Take it for what it's worth though. We'll see when exactly this album gets released (I have little faith his new single will do much more than top 40).

Alligator Records has set a June 2 street date for Meet Me In Bluesland, a previously unreleased album by Grammy-winning Southern blues-rockers The Kentucky Headhunters with pianist Johnnie Johnson, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. The performances found Johnson -- the man Rolling Stone called “the greatest sideman in rock and roll” for his groundbreaking piano work with Chuck Berry -- playing some of the deepest and most rocking blues piano of his legendary career. With The Kentucky Headhunters at their down-home best, the record is a country-fried, blues-infused party from start to finish Source

Is there any news on Josh Turner's release date? I'm guessing it's been pushed back since the album cover nor track listing have been released....

MCA doesn't have "Lay Low" high enough on the charts and right now it's looking shaky for it to get to the top 10 (top 20 might be the limit). They originally wanted the album out by the early spring but the long climb has prolonged the release date.

The album hasn't been announced yet because the single is still lagging too much, down in the 20's on the radio charts. I think if it can work its way into the top 20, then MCA will probably release the album. They're having the same problem with Kip Moore.

If only Curb was as efficient about releasing studio albums from the artists still on their roster as they were at releasing greatest hits packages for Tim McGraw (after he's no longer on the label, no less).

I don't get hot over this. That's what record companies usually do when they lose a big account: release Greatest Hits sets until the rights expire. ;) Unsure, though, who might want to buy compilations these days in this awkward climate (physical/digital down and streaming up); and in the case of Tim McGraws considering his existing and extensive Greatest Hits catalog.

I understand why they do it and how easy it is for them to do. But the fact that they actually have artists on their label now who never get any albums out or it takes years and years for them to come out, it just makes it look even more ridiculous.

I'm 100% with you on that. And when a record by a non A-lister is released, more than often there is little to no ad campaign to promote it.

Not in the States , at least not yet. I know Daryle is on a tiny label & was never even a B-list artist and all but this entire album release has been a botched cluster f*%#! Theres little excuse for such non-information. Social media is free and he has almost no presence there. Why in the world would the record be available on iTunes in the UK but not the US? I think I did see somewhere that it was going to be released on April 20 (I think?) , but the source wasn't the most reliable so I don't know.... If I remember correct , his "Rockin' In The Country" project was the same way & it took me forever to track down a copy that album as well.
