Kind of plays into the "songs you would like to see covered thread", but I was thinking of songs you hear on the radio and think "This sounds like it could easily be played on Country radio". Whether it's the lyrics, voice, or musical arrangement.
I always thought "Life After You" and "September" by Daughtry would've fit in well (also "Tennessee Line" which he sang with Vince Gill on an award show a few years back I believe). Some others, "Out of My Head", "Not Meant to Be" - Theory of a Deadman "Not Over You" - Gavin DeGraw (I love Sara Evan's version with him, but I think his solo version qualifies here). "Come Pick Me Up" - Ryan Adams (I believe ZBB and Randy Rogers Band have covered this in concert quite a few times). "If You Ever Come Back", "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" - The Script

Well let's start with the obvious with Kid Rock's current "First Kiss". "Till It's Gone" by Yelawolf is a little fast, but I honestly think it sounds just as Country-ish as Sam Hunt with "Take Your Time". The Black Keys also have some songs that can be country friendly in my opinion.

I could totally see Brett Eldredge recording Ed Sheeran's song "thinking out loud". Just lace some steel guitar in there. Would be a really good song. I don't listen to much outside of country but sometimes I like to picture country artists recording Pop songs. Fun thread

Adele-Don't You Remember (my favorite from 21). I would love to hear Carrie or at least someone cover it.

I've always thought "Story of My Life" by One Direction sounds Country. They have another song on their new album that will be a single in the Spring "Ready to Run" that has Country flavor too (No it's not a Dixie Chicks cover, lol).

K. Michelle - "God I Get It"
Apparently it was originally supposed to be a duet with a country singer, too.

I've always thought "Story of My Life" by One Direction sounds Country. I saw Collin Raye in concert a few months ago and he covered it.

Tori Amos has a couple, the remixed (radio) version of "Strange" and the revamped version of her song "Playboy Mommy". I think those could have been on country radio.

Bruce Springsteen: "I'm On Fire" which went country in a version by some act called: "The Debonairs". Kenny Chesney cut this song too for a special deluxe album years ago. Edited to add the audio from YouTube:

John Mayer has a few, but I'd say "Who You Love" and "You're No One Til Someone Lets You Down" from Paradise Valley stand out the most to me.

Andy Grammer's "Honey, I'm Good" would need little to no work to be ready for a country radio release...

A couple Steve Miller Band songs Tim McGraw used to cover The Joker at his shows. I always wanted him to record it.

Her voice sounds so much like Taylor Swift when she was younger that it kills me. I joke that she sounds more like Taylor than Taylor does
