Notes: - The National #1 for a fourth week. - Spoon enter the top 3, Father John Misty enters the top 5. - Some housecleaning this week as we have 8 debuts this week. We even have two in the top 30, something I don't do often. - Foo Fighters' "Run" has a nice debut at #8. They've previously got two #1s on my chart, "Something from Nothing" and "Congregation". - Arcade Fire's "Everything Now" debuts at #26. It already outpeaks "I Give You Power"'s peak, as it leaves the chart this week. - Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee's "Despacito" debuts at #91. I eventually decided to chart the version without Justin Bieber as he doesn't add much to the song and this version without Bieber is better. - Dan Auerbach's "Shine on Me" and Radkey's "Dark Black Makeup" debut at #96 and #97 respectively, the first entries for either artist, though Auerbach has charted before with his bands The Black Keys and The Arcs. -"Stay" by Zedd & Alessia Cara also debuts at #98, the other huge pop song to debut on my chart. - Rascal Flatts' "Yours If You Want It" debuts at #99, making it the second entry for them. - DJ Khaled featuring Beyoncé & Jay Z's "Shining" debuts at #100 but it's chart run should be pretty short as "I'm the One" is rising up the Bubbling Under chart now. Yeah but where's Amsterdam Did you read that I said that I found it overrated? It's a good song but it's not that good... (probably because I initially can't understand what he's saying halfway through the chorus)

For second I thought you debuted the same "DNA" I did? The one by Lovespeake . Anyway, great debuts for Foos and Arcade Fire. Both miles better than the Muse's "Madness part2" That's probaly going to be 2017's most overated song. That and that crap job from Imagine Dragons.

(probably because I initially can't understand what he's saying halfway through the chorus) Really? That fiery chorus is what makes the song for me (I hit my head against the wall / Over and over and over and over again again / Cause I don't want to be like them)

Did you read that I said that I found it overrated? It's a good song but it's not that good... (probably because I initially can't understand what he's saying halfway through the chorus) Really? That fiery chorus is what makes the song for me ( I hit my head against the wall / Over and over and over and over again again / Cause I don't want to be like them) That bolded line is my main point of contention with the song. He can't pronounce his words properly in that particular line in my opinion. I had to look up the lyrics to find out what it actually was. I thought he said 'be like 'Emerhead', my head up against the wall'. Don't ask me what 'Emerhead' was, it's just a made-up word by me. And when you have new Father John Misty, Arcade Fire, The National, LCD Soundsystem and Foo Fighters, all of which are far superior to this, I don't really have much use for "Amsterdam" for now. I want to get into it, but it's only a decent song for now. Maybe Ill come around to it in the long run. EDIT: Listened to it again and I like it more, I guess?

LOL! I thought he sang "Hammer my head against the wall" and that's the reason I like the lyric. I could almost picture that too.

Notes: - Father John Misty rises to the top of the chart. - The National as a result drop to #2 but maintain their bullet. They have a chance at rebounding next week. - I know I'm late, but Starset finally enter the top 10 this week. As does Childish Gambino's single. - Biffy Clyro and The Orwells start to lose momentum. - "J-Boy" remains at #4 but re-passes "Hot Thoughts". The latter may start to lose it's bullet soon since I'm starting to dig "Can I Sit Next to You", which debuts at #81 this week. - More housecleaning this week. - Tame Impala, Rise Against and A Day to Remember should enter the top 20 soon. New entries to the top 20: "Chained to the Rhythm", "Cold Cold Cold" and "Everything Now". - "DNA." debuts at #89, making Kendrick Lamar's second song on the chart this week. - Both Drake and The xx have songs fall off the chart this week, but also have songs to debut this week. (#93 and #94 respectively) - The War on Drugs also have a second song to chart with "Holding On" debuting at #96. - #97 to #99 are all songs that've peaked on their respective radio charts, but debut on my chart this week. - Florida Georgia Line's "God, Your Mama and Me" debuts at #100 this week. It features the Backstreet Boys. Notes: - The National return to the top. - Foo Fighters enter the top 5. - Arcade Fire and DREAMCAR enter the top 10, their first top 10 for either artist. - A Day to Remember, Calvin Harris, Spoon and Harry Styles make big upward movement this week. - Not a very exciting week with only 3 debuts. - Black Map's "Run Rabbit Run" debuts at #96, the first entry for the post-hardcore/hard rock band. It should've done better on the active rock chart. - Sundara Karma's "She Said" debuts at #98, the second entry for the band. "Loveblood" went top 20 in March. - DJ Khaled's "I'm the One" debuts at #100. Notes: - National at #1 for a 6th week. - Arcade Fire enter the top 3. - Calvin Harris's "Slide" enters the top 10, as does A Day to Remember's "Bullfight". It's the first top 10 for Calvin as a lead iirc, and definitely the first for ADTR. - A good week for rock and alternative as all the debuts fall into at least one of these genres. Your hate for the song can't be compared to Leo ✔ 's hatred of the song though. Not now, but the popularity of that song, can only mean more of that style crossing over here; which is not a good thing. If "Banda" wasn't bad enough, now we got this crap to deal with.

Notes: - The National remain unstoppable at #1, and Calvin Harris enters the top 5. - Rise Against score their second top 10. (follows "Tragedy + Time") - "Tearing Me Up" has officially spent 1 official year on the chart, spending it's 53rd week on the chart this week. - Only 3 debuts this week. - I've been into "Jaguar God" more than "Andromeda" now, so the former replaces the latter on the chart this week. - Fleet Foxes score their first chart entry with "Third of May". - The Killers score the highest debut of the week with "The Man". It's nice to see "Cold Cold Cold" about to go top 20. I know you were not a big fan of the song when it first came out, so I'm glad it's catching on. Also what's your latest Avatar all about? Pertaining to what song or artist?

Notes: - The National #1 for an 8th week! This ties the song with Green Day's "Bang Bang" for most weeks spent at #1. - All hope isn't lost for the Foos to get another #1 though, as the song is still relatively young. - Tame Impala are back in the top 10! - "call the police", "Can I Sit Next to You" and "Sign of the Times" take big leaps together with "Black" and "Hurricane" (Luke Combs). - LCD Soundsystem have a second song to chart with "american dream". - Lord Huron, Lo Moon and Dylan Scott score their first entries on my chart. - Dan + Shay get their third charter with "How Not To". I'm pretty sure "Run" will go to #1, but you gotta jeep it , The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness, The National (#1 x8wks), up there a fw more weeks. You wouldn't want Web to catch up to you.

Don't worry, it only has at most one more week at #1 for me. The top of my chart is always too competitive for an 8 weeker. (6 is my record)

Notes: - The National are at #1 again. - Spoon are back in the top 5, while "The Violence" has now outpeaked "Tragedy + Time", becoming their first top 5. - The War on Drugs blast into the top 10 with "Thinking of a Place". "Holding On" (at #65 this week) has clicked with me, but I still think this is the better song. - "Wish I Knew You" becomes the next song to cross the 53-week mark. - When one Metallica song leaves, comes another, as "Now That We're Dead" debuts on the chart this week, just as "Spit out the Bone" leaves. - Middle Kids' "Edge of Town" debuts at #92 this week. This is a pretty good indie rock I'd like to see do some damage on the alternative charts. - Sir Sly's "High" debuts at #95 this week; it's their first entry. - Ryan Adams' "To Be Without You" debuts at #98, and seeing how long it took to debut, it won't emulate the success of the #1 hit "Do You Still Love Me?". - "Feels" by Calvin Harris debuts at #99. I finally listened to this song and man is it a jam. Maybe I should check out his new album if the rest of the songs are in the vein of this and "Slide".
