Every Valentine's Day she gifts her fans with something in return that's been riding with her since day one and it's also the anniversary of her debut single "It's All About Me." Mya doesn't do it for the money she just has genuine love and passion for the art of music which is missing in today's climax of music imo. She wasn't promoting anything except self love and her appreciation for her fans. The media just somehow obtained the pics from shoot and ran with a story, she just used it to her advantage and got folks talking. Smart move on her behalf and well played. |

I always thought "Case of The Ex" was her first single from her second single. It should have been instead of "The Best of Me".

The Best of Me was a great choice for a first single. It just had a weak set-up from her label because she was battling them over creative control, etc. Case Of The Ex a great follow-up and Fear of Flying's saving grace, tbh.
