The major love interest is the R&B siren Mya. And even though she is still very much a Sade Adu-grade knockout at 43, the Ghetto Supastar songbird hardly seems like the woman Damon, ostensibly born after Mya’s 1998 studio album debut, would pine for.
In the film, protagonist Damon harbors a longtime celebrity crush on the singer and dancer Mýa. He finally gets to shoot his shot after he invites her to his house party (with a little help from LeBron James’ address book), where she appears, as herself.
