Ellie, Kesha, Selena, Nicki, Ariana etc could have replaced the bottom half of the list imo, probably would give a better result. Not like it changes anything though because Britney>>> Kesha #2. I hope you're talking about Selena Quintanilla and not Gomez  |

3. Britney Spears - I like pop stars who effortlessly reign supreme best, and I could think of only one other star (my number 1 pick) who, in her prime, fit the bill as well as Britney did in this regard. The looks, the stage presence/aura of Brit in her prime was irresistible.
2. Madonna - She grows on me more and more every year. I have a good deal of respect for her and, most importantly, the really great material she has left for us.
1. Whitney Houston - Every gay has their diva, they say. And this once REGAL bish––cheesy, dated songs and all––is the one for me.
3 and 2 are interchangeable but number 1 always remains the same.

Not complaining but I've always been extremely surprised about the amount of Kelly fans. Could that be correlated with the age of the average user on this forum? I love Kelly too and I was obsessed with her during the Breakaway era but the love for her on here hasn't died down!

I'm really surprised Kelly is leading by such a considerable margin over pop, RnB, soul, and country legends like Madonna, Mariah, Aretha, and Dolly. Don't get me wrong, she's great and insanely talented, but to be leading in a vote of best diva of all time?
