I'm pretty sure the movie "Due Date" has "People Are Crazy"(Billy Currington) playing in the background of the one scene when they're sitting in a diner

"Flowers On The Wall" by the Statler Brothers always seems so strange in such a violent film like Pulp Fiction to me. Seems like there was another country song in there as well.? Tanya Tickers version of Fade Away was in Stephen Kings "Christine" too.

Roger Miller - You Can't Roller Skate in a Buffalo Herd ( Jackass 3D) Buck Owens - "Made In Japan" (Jackass: The Movie) Johnny Knoxville is a huge Willie Nelson fan, and I think he stills hosts a weekly radio show on The Outlaw station on Sirius XM.

Yeah, Johnny loves old school country. He actually appeared in Dale Watson's music video for "Hollywood Hillbilly" and said in the Jackass: The Movie audio commentary, that we was thrilled they had an excuse to get a Buck Owens song in the movie. I believe it was "The Gong" skit.

ANY Clint Eastwood movie from the 1970s and 1980s. Too many examples there. He reached #1 on the country chart with Merle Haggard on Bar Room Buddies in 1980.

No because The Devil Went Down To Georgia came out in 1979 while Urban Cowboy debuted in 1980. Yes, I find it more popular than the Johnny Lee hit, Lookin' For Love (chart wise, his biggest hit).

At one point in Boyhood, Ethan Hawke's character can be heard singing Guy Clark's "L.A. Freeway." There were also a few other country-ish tunes throughout the film that I didn't recognize.

I saw The Deer Hunter for the first time recently, and noticed that large parts of "Good-Hearted Woman" by Waylon & Willie and "Tattletale Eyes" by George and Tammy can be clearly heard in two different scenes. The characters also sing part of Bobby Bare's "Dropkick Me, Jesus" at one point. I got a kick out of these.
Also, while the song itself can't be heard, a character in The Gift (the newish one with Jason Bateman and Joel Edgerton) mentions Jerry Jeff Walker wrote "Mr. Bonjangles". Not too often I see one of my favorite cult Texas country artists mentioned in a major Hollywood picture.

I saw Hell or High Water last night. Lots of great country music! That's one hell of a movie! I saw it back when it first came out so I'm happy to see more people watching it now that it is getting awards attention. And yes it's full of great music! Also, the soundtrack for the movie Inside Llewyn Davis is full of some great folk music for anyone that might want to check it out. It's also a fantastic movie.

Patty Loveless - “Timber I’m Falling in Love” (A Few Good Men); this song plays in the background when Tom Cruise and Demi Moore are in the crab restaurant.
Tom T. Hall - “That’s How I Got to Memphis” (The Hero w/ Sam Elliott)
