Dean Brody - "Time"
The second verse about the dad realizing his son has gone on to college and his childhood is over reminded me instantly of my dad and the fact he was rarely home because of his job.

Joey Feek's "See You There" definitely applies to this. The floodgates opened for me the first time I heard the bridge on that song. Knowing it was a true story only makes it more powerful and heart-wrenching, too.

I'm know there's more for me, but these are the ones that are hitting me right now.
Garth Brooks - More Than A Memory Toby Keith - She Never Cried In Front of Me Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood - Whiskey To Wine
On "Whiskey to Wine", I will never forget driving through the darkness of Minnesota countryside after one of my cousins' volleyball games and it was the kickoff of The Garth Channel on SiriusXM. They kicked it off with a live broadcast of Garth's first ever performance at the Ryman. A totally acoustic performance and then Garth and Trisha did this song. I remember thinking to myself (and texting multiple people when I got home) that I just heard one of the best country songs ever. It was absolute magic.
Also in the non-country world, I was sitting at my desk at work when I first put on Harry Styles' Sign of the Times. That song got me to literally start pacing around my office because I couldn't handle the greatness while only sitting.
EDIT because I thought more: As I listen to Eric Church's "Desperate Man" for the 15th time today. I was reminded how "Give Me Back My Hometown" stopped me in my tracks. If you could burn out a digital file, I burnt that one out on release day.

“Dad’s Old Number,” by Cole Swindell. Have only listened to it in full twice and don’t think I’ll ever be able to listen to it more. My father passed away this summer and we would talk daily (multiple times a day actually). He was my best friend and this song hits home so hard.

"Marry Me" by Thomas Rhett "Hurt" by Johnny Cash "Five More Minutes" by Scotty McCreery
I haven't delved too much into the country genre (mainstream or indie), so I need a little more experience. Probably missing a few, but they're not coming to mind.

Keith Anderson "Everytime I Hear Your Name" - the first time I heard it on the radio I turned the car around, went to Walmart and bought the CD. Not only an excellent song, but I was in that exact same place in my life at the time.
