Dr. Indie, what other music downloading sites offer stuff for cheaper than ITunes? (And have most music available) - I'll go to that site in a second... Billboard can't use illegal or shady sites, though, to calculate sales numbers, or even smaller sites that offer some music but not all I use whichever ones I find. As far as I know ;Juno Downloads isn't illigal. That's the only one I know besides some Russian ones that I used to use and provide a huge variety of music and genres. I don't know how legal it is, but you buy like 50 dollars worth of points and download away. songs range from 14 cents to 50 cents. They also have 320 kbps. I don't do iTunes cuz I don't like to be limited to one download site and be at thier mercy to what they have or don't have. Now adays I don't even have to use download sites . I trade mp3 with others.;)

On another note, sales don't always influence Alternative songs to rise faster. They do help most of the time, but it's not always the case. MisterWives' Reflections went Gold but only peaked in the 30s.

I can't think of any song in the last couple years, though, that's gone Top 10 on Alternative without even being in the ITunes Top Alt 200 - but, again, there are two equally popular versions of this song, both on the album, and no clue what the ranking would be if the two versions were added together

Oh yeah - it was Top 200 for a couple weeks when the album came out, but you're right, it hasn't surfaced at all since the single came out

Now a days a two notch climb is something huge on Alt charts. Shoulda been more, but why complain?

I'm just curious as to why No Brake$ is still allowed to post in this topic... Absolutely still believe Colemen Hell and Robert DeLong will be up there. Colemen Hell has a long way to go yet, at least on CHR and HotAC, Robert DeLong still had a song in the Top 15-20 in recurrents, has a healthy bullet of +60. We'll see what happens. Sorry to bring this up again, but I can't resist. Two months later, let's see what happened... Don't Wait Up is finished. 21 21 ROBERT DELONG Don't Wait Up 696 854 -158 1.868 And this song is just two spots below the top 10, and will go there once Walk the Moon, The Struts and AWOLNATION vacate the top 10. 13 12 ATLAS GENIUS Molecules 1379 1315 64 4.018 2 Heads has also slowed down, too. (it could still go top 5 though) 8 9 COLEMAN HELL 2 Heads 1893 1872 21 6.942

Any news about "Molecules" moving up is good news...and yes it looks bound for top 10 action, but was there really ever any doubt? ;)

I said I was sorry because I brought up a two-month-old quote. But that was to prove No Brake's point wrong.

Yeah, all those pages about this song flopping, and Don't Wait Up and 2 Heads being huge #1 hits - and that he was just sticking up for people who were "realistic and knew what's up"

Yeah any flop talk I was involved in was the album, which I like. The song is good too and I never expected it to not smash. Sure, I predicted 2 Heads would hit #1 and Don't Wait Up would finish right below top 10 but whatever I'm glad 2 Heads is done for.

Bad news Dr. Indie, but this song got passed by SSPU today after having two days of negative updates. But Struts is going recurrent next week so... If it just avoids Vance Joy, Weezer and CTE and stays afloat until I Am leaves the top 10 in about a month's time, it can go top 10

I hope the "Molecules" hold together for a while longer.

Another positive update today. This can still go top 10, but it has to hope that I Am and Renegades (which has a -300 bullet now) fall faster. Cage will pass this in a few weeks' time (or even next week), but Weezer still has a long way to go and Vance Joy has slowed down again (I think)

I'm a bit disappointed with their new album, I think the tracks are a lil bit noisy. Sometimes I just want to skip one track, I see some "overproduction" on this album. Their debut is way better.
