Pulse's April Fool's jokes usually don't end until midnight EST, depending on which admin/moderator is up to fix it. on a side note, the omission of l's is almost as annoying as the double l's...can't win for losing. once this day is over every post is going to revert to 'normal' but I suspect not many are going to go back and edit to put their l's back in.

Soo by how many % is UF up by compared to the other songs? BB said: Perhaps helping the chances that "Funk" can remain at No. 1 on the Hot 100, at least for another week: while it's down by 11 percent in overall activity, the No. 2 song (for a third week), Maroon 5's "Sugar," decreases by 3 percent, while Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud," at No. 3 (for a third week, after peaking at No. 2 for eight weeks), is off by 2 percent. And, the lead of "Funk" over those songs is still significant: they each boast approximately two-thirds of the Hot 100 points of "Funk" this week.So I think that means it has a 33% lead? This might be a math fail on my part.

50% lead; if you had 2 oranges and I had 3, I'd have 50% more oranges than you and you'd have 67% as many oranges as me.

haha why doesnt BB just freakin give the damn simple % as they usually do?!? Strangely written article. Yes, they say UF lead is still far ahead yet say there's a small possibility Sugar can get it next week? ? Not at all seeing how that will be possible.

I think its still about 100 million less AI than UF so even if gets close to closing the gap (or passes it) it still needs to quickly catch up w/ streaming and pull FAR ahead w/ sales etc etc...Many of you are better w/ this than me, but just looking at the current conditions, looks like UF will get and/or surpass 16 weeks with ease. As I've said many x for whatever the reason on the main Kworb page (maybe its temporary) all I'm seeing are the top selling 100 songs. If UF (or any other song) has a version below the top 100 I can't see how well its doing.

Well the lowest in many years lol. Maybe in 2005-2007 it was this low. That was the only time where not a single song would sell 100k in a week

People keep talking about Trap Queen as if it's the worst song ever but I've listened to it few times and the worst thing about it is that it's bland and doesn't go anywhere. I'm not sure what makes it so hated and can only assume that people have such an aversion to "urban music" that when a song fitting that description without barely an ounce of pop-ness to it comes along and occupies a precious spot within the Top 10, there's a huge uproar from a particular group of people. Coincidentally (or not), the same people who will say the same thing when/if Bitch Better Have My Money reaches the Top 10.

In the early-mid 00s songs were topping the sales chart with less than 5,000 sold (albeit before digital was included, but back then digital sales would have barely added anything) -- we are nowhere near the all time low.

Now that the all time weeks at #1 record is becoming a very distinct possibility for UF!, time to set our sights higher: Can it topple The Twist as the biggest Hot 100 hit of all time?

Would really love to know if Bruno and his record company have any 'plans' (performances, new mixes, videos etc..) to absolutely guarantee they at least tie the record (unless they know it's already in the bag) and don't even feel its necessary lol. It's actually starting to get green updates again on iTunes! lol. From what I see it's neck/neck w/ Earned It but anyone know the total/combined #s for UF? I only see them at #3 w/ .8628. Thx

It's up to RCA to decide what they gonna do w/ this smash not Bruno's label Atlantic. 2. There's been a remix planned to be released on iTunes and send for adds at Rhytmic & Urban but apparently it was postponed. 3. I'd be very surprised if Bruno made a public appearance anytime soon unless he's dropping his own single. 4. It should be around 95% combined now.

Dunno how good (dirty lol) RCA has been in the past w/ their huge hits that were close to #1 and needed an extra push or whatever to get there (or to extend their runs). I know certain labels are def. on it better than others. Thanks for the info. I wonder if that 'remix' is being held back on purpose until it gets closer to possibly breaking the record. This is the first I'm hearing about a remix so dunno how long it's been 'out there' or mentioned and why it was postponed.

Most weeks in the top 3:
1. Smooth - 19 weeks (1999-2000) 2. Un-break My Heart - 18 weeks (1996-1997) 3. We Belong Together - 17 weeks (2005) 4. All About That Bass - 17 weeks (2014) 5. Uptown Funk - 16 weeks (and counting)*
Looks like Uptown Funk will easily break the record for most weeks in the top 3. This is shaping up to be a whole other beast.
