Of all things to criticize Britney for, you're over a decade late if it's the lipping. Everyone and their mom stopped giving a s**t. I almost don't care that it's not live. Britney looked great and she killed it. Bummed that it was totally pre-recorded, but hey, that's a nice compromise for her nerves on live TV. Her moves were pure fire!

He died just before the show, guys, what do you expect? They had to have the show all down way before he passed. A few second thing thrown in is really all the could do at this moment. There'll be a much bigger one at later events. I'm sure. Grammys managed a good tribute to Whitney the day after she died. But a well thought-out and planned tribute would be welcome. The Grammys usually do tributes to the fallen already, and anyone who's anyyone shows up to it, so it's immensely easier for the Grammys to throw something quick together than it is for a much less important awards show. I don't recall the BBMAs doing death tributes, so it was probably a bit more difficult for them to throw something together last minute. It wouldn't shock me to see a big AMA or Grammy tribute later on. |
