Think of You (with Cassadee Pope) is available on iTunes, of course Young sounds stellar. Second song in a row with the theme of a lost love as a flame/fire from Young. I really think this album is going to be the big star making outing for Chris.

"I Know A Guy" is available on iTunes today and it's fantastic. Between "I'm Comin' Over", "Think Of You", and now "I Know A Guy", this album is shaping up to be a star-making album for Chris.

His last album bored me to tears, and I like this one better 3 songs in already, lol. 3 good country songs that show his voice off. (Especially the newest one and this song)

I can't see how he's not an A-lister after this album era. These songs are perfect for today, they've got enough modern in them to appeal to the mainstream, but they also retain some of the "traditional" flavors so many on Pulse and listening to radio love. I am starting to prefer Young over any other Country artist currently singing. "I Know a Guy" kind of has that play on words that was always popular with 90s Country hooks.

As announced at the CMT Next Women Of Country event by Scott Borchetta, the duet with Cassadee Pope will be the follow-up single to this.

Seems CY has found his sweet spot with this effort. Since first seeing him in 2006, I've always believed it was only a matter of time great talent, work ethic, and persistence would match up with the winning sound. Certainly not an overnight sensation, but finally poised to take a spot on the big stage he was always destined to be.

As of today's update, looks like Chris has officially passed Carrie.

I hope Chris can get the #1 over Cole. It's pretty clear which one has made the most impact and is deserving of the #1 moniker between the two. I'm also hoping that Chris Young can hit the top so he can get his first BB #1 since "You" after coming up short with so many songs over the past couple years. And then, with luck, Carrie will also end her #1 drought on BB the week following.

This will end up being being his biggest hit on the Hot 100 since "You", hopefully his first Billboard #1 since "You". Then he's gonna follow it up with the guaranteed smash "Think Of You" that has a chance to be the biggest hit of his career so far. I'm so excited for this album!

It's official. I'm Comin Over is #1 on the Billboard Chart. It was announced to Chris by Matt Lauer on the Today show before his performance.

Yay! I'm so, so happy that this hit #1 on BB! The drought has finally ended, and it deservingly happened with one of his biggest singles in years, too, so that's pretty cool. ;)

Pretty close on Billboard Airplay tonight. "I'm Comin' Over" edged "Let Me See Ya Girl" by just 174k in total audience.

And really, Warner Bros. could have had the two-chart #1 here fairly easily had they decided to push through Sunday instead of just through Saturday. I mean, we saw a swing of almost 900k between Chris and Cole in today's Mediabase update (+483k for Chris, -396k for Cole). But apparently Warner Bros. was satisfied with the Mediabase-only #1 here (as labels so often are). I understand why that's often the case, but they had a really good chance of securing the Billboard #1 as well, and it makes no sense to me why they wouldn't just push for one extra day. With that said...I absolutely detest Cole Swindell's song, and I'm extremely glad that Chris blocked him from #1 on Billboard. :)

Wow if you made the same comment about a Carrie underwood song or Miranda Lambert song on here, you would get burned at the stake and called every name in the book and a troll. Honestly if it isn't good to root against those songs how's it work for rooting against a Cole swindelle song that I like btw. Regardless I'm happy for chris success but hate to see it at Coles expense

No one mentioned Carrie or Miranda so why bring those 2 ladies into the discussion.

Let's be fair here, plenty of people would prefer Cole Swindell to either of those ladies...just because his music is not a majority favorite here, let's not act like it's no less deserving of respect. There's a market for him and he's proven to be a viable artist for the past couple years. I personally prefer a lot of his songs to their's. Either way, congrats Chris Young!

According to Music Row Magazine Chris has the #1 album this week and I'm Comin Over is #1 for the 2nd week in a row on the Billboard Country Charts. Well deserved.

It's not the most units he's moved in week one, but this project will prove to have more legs than any previous album he's had. I predict his next single and Cassadee Pope duet "Think of You" will be even a bigger hit than the current number 1. "Sober Saturday Night" with Vince Gill is Song of the Year material in my opinion. Great, great effort.

Almost 52 million audience impressions at Billboard. Is that a record? I forgot.

Almost 52 million audience impressions at Billboard. Is that a record? I forgot. 51.912 million is a new Billboard audience record. Kenny Chesney's "Save It For A Rainy Day" peaked at 51.609 million in its 3rd and final week at #1. Chris should easily clear 52 million on Monday, and he could get close to 53 million. This is obviously a huge hit, but the records don't mean that much given that the number of stations on the panel continues to increase by a few as every year passes.

Just saying: since Sony stopped playing nice and pushed Kenny's tune, things have looked a lot different at the top of BB. Since Kenny's first week at the top, we've had only 5 number ones in 11 weeks. In the 11 weeks before that we had 11 number ones.

#1 on the Mediabase Chart. Based on the current chart, is it possible for Chris to hold off BS for a 2 week #1, now that Christmas tunes are spinning? Hope so.

I'm expecting Chris to start falling this week. It's very difficult to maintain those astronomical numbers for another seven days. It's Warner Music Nashville's "turn."

History in the making if Warner Bros. can get Blake Shelton a #1 here.

As expected, "I'm Comin' Over" lost 100 spins and nearly 800k in audience today. That means Chris' reign at the top is finished.
