Uptown Funk has a total of 28 weeks in the top 10, only 5 from breaking the record but let's not talk about it because we'll jinx it.
Sugar has tied the record for most weeks in the top 10 for a top 10 debut with 21 weeks.
And it looks like we may have two consecutive 10 week number ones unless something crazy happens in the next week. That'll be the first time since 2009 when Boom Boom Pow (12 weeks) was replaced by I Gotta Feeling (14 weeks), both Black Eyed Peas song, something that will most likely never ever happen again.
And the top 10 should freshen up soon with Cheerleader, You Know You Like It, Lean On, Fight Song, The Hills and more!

I wouldn't really consider it consecutive since Bad Blood knocked it off for a week

BB radio numbers is wrong:
Last week: "as the single bounds 15-11 on Radio Songs (78 million, up 37 percent) and wins the Hot 100's top Airplay Gainer award for a second week." This week: "and races 11-5 on Radio Songs (78 million, up 37 percent), adding the Hot 100's top Airplay Gainer award for a third week."

Thanks for noting that; I've updated my copy-paste with the data listed in the video. [105 million, +35%]

You know the chart's gotten boring when the Hot 100 thread can't even make it to 4 pages...

Really hoping Talking Body doesn't become another Burn -- top 5 airplay without even making hot 100 top ten.

I'm saddened and surprised that Shut Up and Dance hasn't moved up to the top 3 yet.

I have 3 theories as to why Mark G has been away from Pulse the past 8 days:
1. The Danger Zones really tired him out. 2. SYA is still #1 on the Hot 100. 3. He's tired of all the drama.
Again, my theories.

Yay my questions ignored.... It's because no one knows the answer as that data has not been released yet. The best we have is Kworb's data, which shows this: 77 SHAGGY F/MOHOMBI/FAYDEE/COSTI I Need Your Love 24.861 (-0.292) However, Kworb's data is not completely accurate given that he only has access to just the top 50 of every format versus the actual Mediabase numbers that are all inclusive. Also, Billboard uses a different company to gather airplay data, so their lists are slightly different from Mediabase's anyway. Last week, "I Need Your Love" was not on Billboard's airplay chart, and judging by Kworb's numbers, it likely won't be on this week either.

Hey guys, I may have been right about my 2nd theory. I rarely go on fb nowadays (in fact, I've been there 4-5 times in the last 2 months excluding today), but check out Billboard's fb page. Not only has Mark G been trolling the posts, but he posted a HUGE rant about SYA recently. Something's obviously been bothering him recently. He had said before his hiatus that he needed to get some rest after those DZ's and deal with some personal issues, and he wasn't joking. After seeing what's he's been up to in other places, looks like he ain't making much progress now, is he?
This ain't my problem to deal with, but I hope he eventually comes back after he successfully combats his problems. We most likely don't wanna see him come back still angry and restless and post something that'll get him in serious trouble now, would we?

Well, to me it seems like that he is suspended for 2 weeks for constant trolling, as mentioned in the rules :
Which can be applied to tracks too imo.

So, I have finals in a few hours, so here's just key unreported positions from this week with comments if applicable: 12. Talking Body - still bulleting; still potential to go top 10? 13. Nasty (Freestyle) - don't know streaming, but probably done top 10 run 20. Thinking Out Loud - back in top 20; proxy of Photograph? 21. The Hills - Streaming Gainer; still exceptionally strong? 23. This Summer's Gonna Hurt - Edging for top 20 already... 25. Fight Song - Digital Gainer; probably top 20 next week if sales keep up 30. Flex (Ooh Ooh Ooh) - Now top 30 31. Style - Off top 30 35. Take Your Time - 23 weeks; pretty long for country; benefitting from sale still going on and picking up steam 40. Bright - Only top 40 move this week 42. Photograph - Top 50 move 43. Chains - Off top 40 45. Be Real - Top 50 move 47. Phenomenal - Hot Shot; notably lower than Guts Over Fear... 48. Time of Our Lives - Boy, this one just keeps lasting 50. Fun - Top 50 move; definitely overtaking TooL next week 51. One Last Time - Off top 50 52. Pretty Girls - Off top 50 even with sale 58. Ulay Oh - Debut and...what? Never heard of this before. Oh... Interesting, last time Abramovic came up to me through music, it was with that Picasso Baby tribute to Artist is Present. Odd that this is only going viral 5 years after the event. 60. I Really Like You - 17-position surge 62. Classic Man - 16-position surge; shaping up to be sleeper hit of summer? 75. Loving You Easy - 15-position surge 82. Nasty - 28-position crash! 84. L$D - A fall, but still here after album launch 85. House Party - Debut 91. All Day - 12-position drop 92. Everyday - Debut; pretty strong week for Rocky 96. Hood Go Crazy - Debut 97. Electric Body - Even the smaller Rocky single stuck around 99. Hell of a Night - Debut 100. Get Low - Re-entry; according to Hot Dance, it didn't bullet though Off Hot 100: All About That Bass (49, recurrent), Homegrown (67, recurrent), Heartbeat Song (72, recurrent), I Bet (88), King Kunta (98), Raise 'em Up (99), Flicka da Wrist (100)

The first time Mark said sth about SYA was that: It is a cool song I'll be happy if it makes top 10! If you guys are really worried about him I'll send him a message and ask how is he doing :)

It only proves that Mark just really hate SYA because it blocked UF from the record. Gosh, unless he's just trolling hard, he need to get a therapist ASAP

Wanna know the irony of all this? 2 months ago, this same guy said to zsog: "Please tell me how a song impacts your life negatively." and "Clearly you don't know the rules here and you need to gtfo."
Hypocrite much?
