This was the 5th and final single from his album, "Unorthodox Jukebox." It was written and produced by The Smeezingtons. It was slated to be the second single from the album, but was swapped out for "When I Was Your Man." There was a video shot for it, but it was never released. It managed to peak at #8 at CHR/Pop, but is his lowest charting single (as a lead act) to date on the Hot 100, peaking at #32. This is definitely my least favorite single of his, so far. It's so bland.

His best single for me hands down. The previous ones were cute for like 5 listens (except for WIWYM, which I can't stand) and then I could not really listen to them again.

boring as ass, and the basic epitome of what he shouldn't be doing with his music

It was a good song, but looking back... I find it forgettable.

I couldn't hear this in my head... it came back to me as soon as I started playing for it. I don't like it per se, but it is definitely one of his more tolerable singles for me.

So boring. I hope he doesn't give us much more (if any) of this on his next album.

Surprisingly, I looked back to this song more often compared to Bruno's other singles off Unorthodox Jukebox

One of my favorites on the album (and the whole album was ace). I remember being disappointed with "Locked Out Of Heaven" initially, although I ended up liking that one, ended up loving it actually, and fearing that the album would be underwhelming. Then he debuted "Young Girls" on SNL and my faith was instantly restored. Melodies galore, which is what I look for most in a song, and a rich emotional vocal performance by Bruno. Still listen to this pretty often.

They should put out the unreleased music video for this on the tenth anniversary of the day Unorthodox Jukebox was released.

Goodness, it's so crazy to think the album will be turning ten next year...I still remember when it was brand new on stores and the singles were constantly on repeat on radios. ๐ญ However, what I'm really hoping is for Bruno to finally put the hidden gem that is "Old & Crazy" on streaming services. It was a Target deluxe track featuring 2011 Best New Artist winner Esperanza Spalding, and it's such a delightful little ragtime-inspired tune.
