The second pop single from Taylor Swift's fourth album Red. It peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 (which some people remember very well because of it being blocked from #1 due to the lack of streaming) and #1 on CHR for 6 weeks on Mediabase and 7 weeks on Billboard. The one-two punch of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and this song truly broke her out on pop radio and internationally as well.
I still love this song, even though it sounds a bit dated due to the dubstep production.
Not to mention the goat ;) I think this song was the first song to have the goat remix treatment. Taylor's impact :'(

This is probably my favorite song from her. I've always liked this, even though I don't particularly care for her.

Didn't like it, then I went through a period where I did like it, and then went back to not really liking it. Melodically and lyrically it is pretty good... but, as usual, I don't like her vocals and the dubstep really didn't work here at all.

This is a perfectly crafted pop song.

This is terribly dated.

Dated? Undoubtedly.
One of her most important and crucial singles ever? Even more undoubtedly.

Love this song at the time of release and still love it today. A lot of songs at the time had dubstep production such as "As Long As You Love Me" by Justin Bieber. But the general public itself most remembers this single out of the songs that were released from the album "Red". Whenever Taylor performs it today, the crowd loves it. :)

One of her catchiest songs ever, I really love the verses of this song! "No apologies, he'll never see you cry, pretends he doesn't know, that he's the reason why, you're drowning..." And the chorus is so easy to sing along to!
I wish she released this to streaming so that it could easily hit #1.

I remember thinking this was SO innovative then.. The beginning of the pop dubstep phase. It's still definitely a good song.

Always loved this, one of my most played songs that winter. The video is a perfect fit, although I forgot how the Marry The Night-esque intro is. I know very well that Gaga didn't invent monologues, but still. I agree with everyone in here who says it sounds dated. Is that a problem though? Of course it would be dated three years after the release.

Hmm, dubstep still sounds futuristic to me, not dated, even though its phase in the mainstream is over. Great song anyway.

Easily my favorite track off of Red but it hasn't aged well for me.

This and "Style" are her best pop songs. So good.

It really hasn't aged as well as the rest of the album but at the time it was a massive win for her and a favorite of mine.
I dislike the video though. The song deserved so much better.
She still credits this song's dominance on Pop radio as one of the main reasons she moved into full-on Pop for 1989, so I'll always be thankful for that.

Love this song, one of my favorites from Taylor. Which is funny since I hated this in it's prime.

I love this one and consider it one of the best pop songs of the decade. I think all of the production matches the lyric very well.

The "Taylor's Version" Of this song is getting some radio traction. I'm not entirely sure if the stations playing this are only playing it as a gold track, but it shows up current on Mediabase. Stations along the I-95 corridor, from WXKS in Boston, to stations in Baltimore and Jacksonville, are giving this regular airplay. It also showed up on Hits 1's "Hit-Maker" survey, and so I think it's very likely that this could be on pop radio again.

WXKS is my local station and I’ve heard this occasionally for months. I’m almost certain they’re playing the original but Mediabase just puts it as Taylor’s Version.
