Am I the only one who's having trouble playing the songs from Spotify? The songs are all up on her official website. "When Love Hurts" is a smash hit in the making. I'll be livid if radio ignores this song.

Copied over from her album thread:
When Love Hurts is the very definition of basic. Her voice is the only thing that comes remotely close to saving it, and I'm not sure it will be enough. Pity they are making this the official single sent to radio with a video. I don't really need to hear this again. Even if it was released last year, it would sound stale. C-
Say Love: Yessss...especially that ending and those runs. A-
Save My Soul: The best of the 3 songs. The "oh na na na na yahs" are catchy as hell and the production is perfect. I also love the lyrics and the vocals are her best of the three songs. A
Overall, good job but...not sure what the rest of the album has in store, based on what we are given here. I will take more Say Loves and Save My Souls over the pablum that is When Love Hurts.

This is the right song to send to radio. It's in line with whats popular now, but her voice takes it to a higher level. It's like Kids by MGMT+ Living For Live by Madonna + every Calvin Harris song ever. I like it.
If they weren't wasting Save My Soul on this amature "tringle" strategy, it would be a great followup. Unless she's sitting on a goldmine of an album and has something stronger.

Out of all three of the singles, I really like Save My Soul, and When Love Hurts. I'm not really feeling Say Love, so 2/3 for me.

I really love this. I'd be shocked if this didn't turn out to be a big hit. I wish they saved Save My Soul for next instead of releasing it already, though. It could've been a perfect follow up.

What's interesting is that if this exact same track was "Calvin Harris - When Love Hurts (feat. random female singer)" it would be a MASSIVE hit. It's literally NO different to his singles!! It has all the ingredients to be a radio hit, but it depends on how hard the label are gonna push this. I mean, is there even a radio adds date...? Her team really need to be quick and on the ball from the get go if they want her to be a success as she's not in a position where she can just do things half paced.

This has potential, but it definitely needs to be beefed up. I'm hoping the final version is more anthemic. It sounds kind of flat as is.

I like this. Jojo's really vocals make this. The lyrics aren't terribly exciting, but the way they are sung is amazing. The ad libs and vocalizations are heavenly. The main chord progression is very similar to other Dance/Pop songs including "Commander", "Dance Again", "Only Girl In The World", "Get Outta My Way", "Catch My Breath", "Walking On Air", and "Sparks." I love all those songs so I am not complaining.
This is begging for a re-sung David Morales remix.
Of the other songs, I like "Save My Soul". It reminds me of an uptempo "Stay With Me". "Say Love" is amazing too.

On a full listen on my home speakers, it sounds better. There are things I didn't notice before in the production. I move it up to a B-. I still think it's pretty generic but I'm just glad to have JoJo back really and she sounds great.

Love all of the new songs and I'm just really excited about her coming back at last. I've been waiting for this forever! It's crazy to think that if/when "When Love Hurts" smashes there's gonna be a ton of people out there thinking this is some new girl's debut single because JoJo has been out of the game for so long. I'm ready to see her come back strong though because I've always believed this girl should've been huge by now and she finally has a chance to act on that with her old label out of the picture. I'm just so excited. And for those that are interested I made a poll for the new songs: pulsemusic.proboards.com/thread/152140/tringle

This took a couple listens for me to get REALLY into it, but holy s**t now that I am I'm HOOKED. The hook is great. Unfortunately yes it is a bit generic and 2012/2013-sounding but it's not so dated that it can't work. Her vocals absolutely kill too, per usual. (Although honestly she does no wrong vocally tbh) I'm not sure if this is the greatest choice for a lead single from a full album, but I imagine they will release another single before then anyway.
"Save My Soul" is easily one of the best tracks she's recorded thus far. Vocally, lyrically, melodically the song just slays. Definitely has hit potential. Granted (I dont think) we still quite know exactly how this "tringle" thing is being executed but this is definitely a solid second main single choice. Simply amazing.
"Say Love" is phenomenal vocally. Not sure it will/would work as a radio single but it's a great track & certainly a relatable one.

Does anyone know if these songs are for the album or is this just like a 3 song ep? I was kinda hoping she would release more music like demonstrate she should of saved that song.

YAS BISH! Slay My Soul and When Love Hurts are my favorite out of the trio. When Love Hurts is a cute bop and I like the little Tropical House elements that it incorporates. I will say vocally she's snatching per usual. The chorus of Say Love does probably hit the hardest out of the three.

I like the song but the way she pronounces the line "That's How I Know It's Real" is kind of strange.
