Recently, which dance songs have been successful on pop or other charts. Besides Daniel Bedingfield, it doesnt seem like many songs make it

Good question... I don't think there have been any so far this year. There are relatively fewer major dance releases in the U.S. this year compared to last year I think... There should be more next year though with Britney, Kylie, and Janet releasing new upbeat singles commencing later this year and into early next year.

I don't really consider Britney, Kylie, and Janet dance music. They sound like pop to me.

Kylie is the only one of the bunch even remotely considered Dance, and even so, not all of her songs. Anyway, there haven't been any big dance songs this year. There's only been one dance song to enter the Pop Top 40, and that was "Something" by Lasgo... and even so it only peaked around what, #23or something? On a more regional basis, Reina had a really big NYC metro area hit with "No One's Gonna Change You" the first half of this year. It was in heavy rotation on WKTU, WHTZ, WBLI, WBBO, and I think one or two more in the area that I'm forgetting.

WSPK probably, and I think that was the song that was on WFHN and WPYO in other markets. WHTZ, WKTU, WBLI, and WSPK are the four highest audience per spin stations for dance in the area.

"Not Gonna Get Us". I consider that a dance song. It went top 40 and is a great song!

In 2002 "Rapture (Tastes So Sweet)," Iio "Can't Get You Out Of My Head," Kylie Minogue "Gotta Get Thru This," Daniel Bedingfield "Days Go By," Dirty Vegas "Heaven," DJ Sammy feat. Yanou and Do "Love At First Sight," Kylie Minogue [not really dance] "Breathe," Telepopmusik
In 2003 "Something," Lasgo "Move Your Feet," Junior Senior [nearly top 40!] "At The End," Iio [in the top 70] "No One's Gonna Change You," Reina [in the top 70]
I'm missing some, but overall its been a disappointing year for dance music.
