Yeah BT! (I wonder why he's #1 here but the Billboard dance airplay chart pophector posted, he's not in the top 5) This is based on Dance airplay right?
I love the Simply Red song, but is there a remix or something? I wouldn't consider it a dance song otherwise, although it wouldn't feel out of place on dance stations.

Yes, this is based on airplay. This month it was based on 16 stations. The breakdown is as follows: 10 US Commercial Dance stations 02 US Non-Commercial Dance stations 02 US Internet-only Dance stations 01 Satellite Radio station 01 Canadian Commercial station The discrepancies probably are because the billboard chart will only monitor 8 stations as opposed to this monitoring about 16 every month. That's one reason why I plan on continuing this chart even though the billboard chart will be out. Nothing against Billboard, but I feel as though I can make a more accurate chart than they can Oh, and BTW, the Simply Red song is a remix. The one I've heard most often is the "Love To Infinity Mix".

I'm glad that The ROC Project has hung around for so long. That surely has become one of the biggest dance hits this year.

Yeah, I make this chart. That's one of the reasons as to why it comes out once a month If I had more time, I'd like to compile it every 2 weeks (each chart takes about 1 - 1.5 hours to make). I'm also thinking about expanding the chart, although I'm not sure by how many songs.
