Glad to see that. Now Bieber needs to slow down so Twenty One Pilots can have #1.

Even if this doesn't hit #1, I'm so glad it made it this far.

At least this still has sort of a chance of getting #1 on Hot 100.Hopefully the slight change in the way Billboard calculates the points systems boosts it a little bit.

Definitely saw the hit potential in this from the get-go. Not sure I'd have predicted that it would make it to #1, but yes, that would be oh so thrilling. :)

If this keep going at this pace while Love Yourself didn't make any significant gain, this might be the first Alt. crossover #1 in Pop since Team (Even though it's unofficial)

Tomorrow this'll outpeak "Shut Up And Dance" to become the biggest Alt crossover in a long time. This is at 17,809 (+203) today, while WTM peaked at 17,842. This will be #1 in less than a week.

All this needs is a miracle boost in Streaming to get the summit. It's gonna be close...

Friday Update on Pop: 2 2 TWENTY ONE PILOTS Stressed Out 18647 17809 838 121.589
-43 Spins -245 Bullet +0.612 Aud.
And Love Yourself gained in spins and bullet today.
The chances are looking just a little slimmer for this to hit #1, but there's still hope!

Just need to hold there until Tuesday so it will be an official #1 in both Mediabase and Billboard!
The last Alt top 5 hit to reach #1 in Pop is Royals, if you discounted that one or two days that Team spent at #1 in Pop, that is.

Is this eligible for next year's Grammy? I could see this being a contender for SOTY

Hopefully this will get the #1 on Billboard's Top 40 chart this week. The gap on Mediabase between "Love Yourself" and "Stressed Out" went up from 251 spins last week to over 900 this week, and on Billboard it only missed #1 by 30 spins, so I don't see why it won't lock up the top spot on the second Top 40 chart tomorrow.

Thinking Out Loud was released as a single in October 2014, just into the eligibility period for the 2016 awards. I'm also pretty sure Thinking Out Loud was eligible for the 2015 awards as an album cut on x but album cuts are rarely submitted for consideration by labels, so 2016 it was.
