Inspired by the "What's In Your CD Collection" thread. Anyway, I think it's self explanatory, but what's in your vinyl collection? I love vinyl and try to collect it whenever i can. It's by far my favorite way of listening to music. Anyway, here's all I have:
Sturgill Simpson- "Metamodern Sounds In Country Music"
Dierks Bentley- "Up On The Ridge"
Eric Church- "Sinners Like Me", "The Outsiders", "Mr. Misunderstood"
Johnny Cash- "Live At Folsom Prison"
The Charlie Daniels Band- "Greatest Hits", "Windows"
Glen Campbell- "Greatest Hits"
Willie Nelson- "Always On My Mind", "Statdust", "Face Of A Fighter"
The Mavericks- "In Time"
And these aren't necessarily country....but they would probably be today and they're cool so I'm posting them anyway :)
Fleetwood Mac- "Rumours" The Eagles- "Hotel California" Lynyrd Skynyrd- "Pronounced Leh-nerd skin-nerd" Steve Miller Band- "Greatest Hits"

My collection is small, but growing. Johnny Cash - Out Among The Stars (the first vinyl I had ever bought, without others being handed down). Kacey Musgraves - Pageant MaterialAnne Murray - Greatest Hits
Kenny Rogers - Ten Years Of Gold
Alison Krauss/Robert Plant - Raising Sand (I'll put this here, but not sure exactly where to put it. Some singles were promoted to country radio, but I dunno). Edit: Johnny Cash - At Folsom Prison I have others, including Fleetwood Mac's Rumours but the others aren't country. Any vinyl recommendations in the country genre would be greatly appreciated. And, I am sure this thread will provide that.

Up on the Ridge - and it's signed. :)
I also have a George Strait album on vinyl but I don't remember which one.

I'm embarrassed to say I don't own a single vinyl. I was never really exposed to the format and thus never developed an interest in it. I developed my habits as a music collector during that awkward period after the CD "replaced" vinyl but before the vinyl resurgence. Someday I'm going to have to change this, especially since so much classic country has never been released on CD (good luck getting any Roger Miller beyond the greatest hits).

I plan on expanding my collection come next year. Apparently, Target started putting a selection of Vinyls on the back of the music row in my area. It was full of Adele's 25 and Ed Sheeran's Multiply. The only country vinyl I saw was Dwight Yoakam's Second Hand Heart. There was only one copy. I didn't grab, but I should've.

I bought George Strait's "Twang" and I have several of his 80's albums on vinyl. Since he's my favorite singer, I've also collected a lot of his old singles. I think the last one that was released in that format was "Desperately." One other totally random vinyl single I own is "All His Children," by Charley Pride. On a related note, I have a copy of the George Strait single "Drinking Champagne," which is subtitled "(A Toast to the Battlin' Bucs)." I've always wondered who the Battlin' Bucs are. Anybody know? I found a picture... see below.

A lot of my records are currently at my sister's house. But off the top of my head, I know I have the following treasures:
* John Scott Sherrill's version of "Lonely Women Make Good Lovers" on 45
* "Hard Times on Easy Street" by David Lynn Jones
* "Eyes" by Eddy Raven (an early independent LP he did in the early 80s before his streak of hits began)
* Three Diana Trask albums
* "Abilene" by George Hamilton IV, complete with a price tag from Arlan's department stores which went out of business in the early 70s
* An unopened copy of Ray Stevens' "Be Your Own Best Friend" (and judging from the cheesy lyrics on the back, I don't think I want to open it...)

Wow! I am so behind.... all my music is in mp3 format. I only only starting to collect CDs recently, I think I have about 30 country CDs, 10 pop CDs, and about 20 Christian CDs. Haven't even thought of vinyl yet!!!

I usually only buy vinyl albums if I know it'd be harder to find in any other form. That was the main reason behind my buying the David Lynn Jones album, since I wanted a cleaner cut of "Bonnie Jean (Little Sister)", one of the most underrated country songs of the 80s.
Also, one of my friends is a bit of an audiophile and a big Eddy Raven fan, so I lucked out and got "Eyes" for him for only $10. It's autographed, too.

Kacey Musgraves - Golden Hour American Country Countdown with Bob Kingsley 10-24-87
I’ve got some more American Country Countdown Vinyls recently but don’t recall the dates. My goal is to find as many as I can because I loved the show as a kid and never have time to listen to Bob’s countdown on the radio anymore. Another goal is to try to get all the ones from the 80’s and listen to them back to back. Hopefully they all exist and are reasonably priced. So far the few I do have I’ve only paid like $10-$15 used a piece for them.

Would love to find some of ETC’s records. Nice pickups! Thanks! I picked them up for $2 a piece in the bargain bin at Amoeba Records in Hollywood. I was pretty thrilled. I would’ve paid $2 just for the song “What I’d Say” from The Heart Of It All album. That song could be a hit today on the radio. I think if Blake Shelton would record that song he’d have a huge hit with it.
