The 80's Pop icons; Duran Duran, released their first single of "Paper Gods" and was pure 1986 Pop Candy. It had #1 written all over it. Only one song denied it; it's rightful place, and that honour went to my #1 song of 2015.

The third track I charted off "Better Days Comin' made two appearances on my chart. First time; it peaked at #26; then returned half year later and went to #1; spending 27 weeks ; on my chart ,in the process. Another of the 2015 comebacks for 80s icons.

Almost everyone I know; thought this shoulda been a big hit for the classic Alt band. Everone, except the actual Rock/Alt charts. On my weekly chart; it easily went to #1 for a month

2. Reflections - MisterWives

Just like Echosmith did in 2014; MisterWives became my favorite Indie Pop of 2015. Mandy Lee's incredible unique and powerful vocals also took this song to the Alternative charts; where it became a moderate top 40 hit. Thanks to the below 50 Madiabase charts, I was aware of this song long before it actually charted in the Alt top 40.

Time for my #1 song of 2015. Have y'all been paying attention? It's the song that spent the most amount of weeks at #1. In fact; it spent double the amount of time That "Hallelujah" did. It was only able to be dethroned by 80s icons; Def Leppard. The song for me perfectly captured the vibe of New Wave Synth Pop song. A song; that I would consider perfect in all aspects. Intro, Outro, melody, vocals , perfect fusion of Guitar and synths and even the title was one and only. So without any further waiting; I announce Dr. Indie's #1 song of 2015.

The original version of the song; appearing on the album had something missing and sounded a tad flat. The new titled (single version) added a great intro and a few more lines in the bridge to last chorus. Small differences, but really made the song all the more powerful. This is truly a song; that will keep me in the car, even after I turn the engine off. few songs have had that effect on me. "Say It Ai'nt So" by Weezer. "Photograph" by Def Leppard, "More Than A Feeling" by Boston, "Jessie's Girl" by Rick Springfield and of course "Let's Go" from The Cars
