I get her frustrations. The entire industry is at her throat and wants to remove her.
But....her lashing out isn't helping. It's just making the hate train worse and it's overshadowing the music. If she just kept quiet and continued promoting the album without the extra drama, things would be a lot better. Or if she just put this in her music instead of interviews/twitter.
I'm going to just enjoy the music and try to ignore everything else. Because who knows when we'll get another album/tour.

This kind of scenario is just the latest in a long line of situations where I miss the days before the internet, let alone social media. Things just sold what they sold, and artists weren't discussing numbers in realtime, or at all, really. The chart would be released in Billboard Magazine each week, and that was that. Entertainment Tonight would give a rundown of the top 10 albums, and there was no comments section for stans and trolls... or platforms for artists to act foolish.
It made a huge difference in terms of artist allure, as well as what people focused on when an album was released - THE MUSIC. The digital era has made a mess of everything, and Nicki is a prime example. Her artistry is outdone by her and her damn twitter account.

Im just going to say this once and leave it in the atmosphere. Nicki Minaj is a sore loser and is proving why alot of people can't stand her even while liking her music. Just a personality that makes you wanna cringe and coil up. Ugh

The more I listen to this album, the more it's inching up towards TPP for me. I don't think it'll ever be my favorite album from her but it's definitely making it's way up.
Nicki has survived much worse shit so once this is all over, I'm sure she'll be fine. I'm reminded of circa-2011/12 when she was trashing Mariah Carey and Stephen Tyler on Twitter, not her best moments, and she came out OK.

At this house party and FEFE came on and I'm drunk so I started working that dance floor till I realized what song was it and then felt like trash so slowly gathered myself and went and sat down. That beat 😔 why he gotta be trash . Thankfully it's just a few friends cause I was cussing them out for liking it.
