Yeah to me I didn't see it as no slave thing. She said Karl wanted Kim Kimble to be in the pic too. It's two black women who happen to be entertainers/entrepreneurs and very successful in their fields. The thing that stinks is that the majority of people are going to assume that is just a regular woman in the pic doing her hair. Thanks for your patience and explanation! She could’ve worded her statements better but I get what she was trying to say and I 100% agree. I hate what Instagram/the sex industry has done to a lot of women and young girls coming up. I also like that she acknowledged how she might have influenced it. She’s been very vocal since the beginning of her career for women to have their own money, not depend on or let a man control you etc. It’s just never come across much in her music. I hope she touches on it on “QUEEN”. Going by some of the new lyrics they included in the article, she’s going to.

Absolutely LOVE Bed, and Chun Li isn't bad at all. I don't plan on listening to Rich Sex or Barbie Tingz as I'm not really a fan of her music, but I REALLY hope this era works out for her!

The clickbait headline and isolated quotes don’t do it justice tbh, she also said she accepted some responsibility and her role in possibly promoting it. A lot of the comments on TSR are calling her a hypocrite mainly because of “Rich Sex” and it’s lyrics, but all her actual talking points have been pretty mature. |
