I didn't think Nicki's performance was that all that different from any of her other performances at the BET Awards.
I kind of liked "Chun LI". I thought it was kind of similar to her SNL performance.
What I noticed was that she didn't rap a lot of her parts but I thought that was her just being "fierce"..
I'm also a casual fan and was watching it on a computer screen.

Right. What’s the excuse for the sales? People aren’t buying her shit either. If anything that would’ve countered the resistance from radio. Both of the Ariana collaborations are almost out of the top 200 on iTunes. That’s what I find most alarming about her this era. I guess it’s easier to blame “the powers that be” than to just admit Nicki is NOT bringing it this time, and people aren’t checking for her the same way. 

She’s absolutely phoning it in with not only the performances, but the material as well. She’s lucky she recorded “Chun Li” at the last minute because “Barbie Tingz” was absolutely going to flop.

I think the problem is that she has been replaced by Cardi despite them making completely different songs. It seems like when it comes to female hip hop there can only be one at a time unlike the pop scene where the girls can all co-exist and be successful. She chose to come back right in the middle of the Cardi reign but so far it has backfired. Then again, the singles she released in 2017 before Cardi blew up also flopped so maybe people just grew tired of her.

Nothing about the dude with the "true story" had anything to do with that specific incident of Nicki hopping in that girl's DM and being a cunt. If anything he made it worse by basically saying the girl was an unpaid intern for him and Karen Civil and the girl was previously fired from them for breaching the confidentiality agreement which essentially said "don't use your platforms to post unfavorable opinions about people who pay us." Nonetheless it was totally unrelated.

The girl posted an opinion about Nicki that was NOT negative or disrespectful. It was actually an opinion that many people share (hence this flop era). Nicki is too old to be hopping in somebody's messages talking about "you're jealous of me because I am rich and pretty." That was some teenage junior high s**t. She's losing her s**t.

The woman was making it seem like she was fired for that specific tweet she posted about Nicki and that wasn't true at all. She wasn't even fired for her comments about Nicki. They discussed that in a private email and told her to post her opinions using constructive criticism. What got her fired was her taking their private convos/emails to her timeline and breaking her confidentiality agreement. Who does that? Who wants someone as unprofessional and messy like this working for them? She was rightfully fired.

She also conveniently deleted all of the bashing tweets that set Nicki off and only kept the fair one to play the victim. That one tweet alone is not what Nicki was responding to. That one tweet wasn't even accurate. It's like she and the people critiquing Nicki's music haven't listened to The Pinkprint at all. Maybe wait until, idk, Nicki's new album is released to see what kind of album she's going to give us?.

Yeah, yeah, I know. I'm a biased stan~. Let's just ignore facts and logic and continue shitting on this woman. It's much more fun.

She was introspective in TPP, she mustve missed that. There is a niche she is good at, just like any another artist/rapper. If it's not broke, why fix it? It works still, am I wrong or no?

I'll say "Bed" isn't too strong on iTunes right now, but it's killing on radio, so idk what to label it once the video drops.
