The Hot 100 record isn't impressive at all. Aretha Franklin broke that record based off majority of solo singles, not by being a hook hoe or a bunch of random collaborations. Nicki had a bunch of random, low charting features. She isn't in the same ballpark or league as Aretha.

It wasn't lol  I was saying that while yes, a #1 record is nice to have, I don't think it matters at this point. Nicki's already achieved great success and is the biggest female rapper of all time. A #1 record would just be adding to her already impressive resume. And no matter how people want to slice and dice it, she will always be regarded as the female with the most Hot 100 hits. Which brings me back to my original point. That while she doesn't have a #1 single, she holds the record for most hits. So who cares? Lol. |
