Probably too far away from country music but since she is covered by country circles... Elizabeth Cook - "Perfect Girls of Pop", "These Days", "When She Comes"

I don't think anybody realizes just how obsessed I am with Jamie O'Neal's new music so far The new version of "There Is No Arizona" is absolutely mind-blowing!!! Honestly, I think it's even better than the original. The high harmony line that she created in the chorus gives the song a fresh life that it never had before. Plus the way she and Lauren take turns switching between the melody and the harmony means they both get turns to slay us. Also, I still have not recovered from just how incredible Jamie's voice still is. She is literally more than twice Lauren's age, and she absolutely nails all the same high parts, and honestly I find her tone to be the more pleasant of the two. There is more soulful power and richness to her low range, as well as a youthful sweetness in her voice when she is doing the high harmonies, with not even a slight hint of aging! "Closure To Closure" is probably my biggest obsession so far. I think it sounds like a song that would be a smash hit for any of the modern female artists. Not to mention it seems to take the best elements from each of them and make them even better. The lyrics are very Kelsea Ballerini, the vocals are very Carrie Underwood, the ad-libs at the end are very Maren Morris, the melody is very Carly Pearce, and the instrumental arrangement is very Lindsay Ell. I feel like this could be a career-making smash hit for any of those other younger women, and I hate the fact that Jamie likely will not get the chance to benefit from that! Finally, "Sometimes It's Too Late" has quite possibly the BEST vocal performance I have ever heard from any country female artist!!! It honestly sounds like a Celine Dion song. The youthful sweetness I mentioned earlier is honestly overwhelming when she launches into the first chorus ("I thoughts that I had time, that there'd be another day", "You're the reason that I breathe, you're the love of my life" especially). She sounds like a brand new twenty-something with her whole entire career ahead of her. Literally nobody would listen to this and assume that she is the same age as Reba was in "Turn on the Radio" And then she has to go and put a cherry on top with that powerful and effortless F#5 at the end, fading immediately to beautiful head voice only a couple words later within the exact same line. Y'all, it is absolutely INSANE how amazing her voice still is. This is shaping up to be my favorite album of the year, by a long shot!! Lord help me when they drop the Martina and Sara duets
