Haven't been able to find any discussion on this track here, but I absolutely love it right now.

This song and her voice give off such a strong Carly Pearce vibe to me. I like it more than Carly's current single, too. 🙃😅 Wish she would cut this one, because I could see it doing well for her if it went to radio.

The Bullet -Carrie Underwood
I don’t know what got me into spinning the Cry Pretty record again, cause it’s my least favorite project she’s put out, but man did I forget how much “The Bullet” hits. I remember at the time I was worried about her picking this as a single, but now I kind of wish she had. Such a powerful/heartbreaking story.

How about a shocking entrant for today, as I heard it on a local station.

Lauren Alaina - On Top of the World
Well I noticed the song because someone pointed out the similarity of the tune of this song with Tennessee Orange and I listened to it and got hooked. I like both songs very much and I have listened to this song more than two hundreds times. It may be my favorite Lauren song now.

Absolutely underrated LA album and I'll die on the hill that Moroney heard this song and couldn't get it out of her head while Tennessee Orange was written. It Was Me, If The World Was a Small Town, Getting Good, On Top of the World, Run, What Do You Think Of?, Good Ole Boy, Change My Mind are all beyond excellent. The album rollout was weird after two EPs that made up about half the album itself, but what a damn good album it was. People forget.

Well I think although there are similarities the two songs are different emotionally. For Tennessee Orange tells a great story with deep underlying meaning which is complex, smart and powerful. But On Top of the World is just a simple heartbreaking drinking song that just touches deeply.Sometimes the simple songs are just enough to move you. I think with Tennessee Orange blowing up,if Lauren's team try with On Top of the World maybe it will splash some spark.(maybe same as roar and brave ten years ago?)

The Frontmen - Left Their Mark
Richie McDonald sings lead on this and it definitely sounds like a song Lonestar would have released in the early 2000’s.

"Dirt Cheap" - Cody Johnson
K102 is playing like it's already a huge hit so I can't wait until it is sent to radio.

Life With You by Kelsey Hart
Great song even though it doesn’t bring anything overly new to the table.

I shouldn't like this as much as I do but man that chorus is so catchy.

Chayce Beckham - This Ol' Rodeo
Doesn't really bring any new to the genre but surprised at rootsy verses, the fiddles are solid and his vocals are distinctly good. Certainly does not sound like an American Idol winner release which is a plus.

Before too long, I think Megan's gonna be running the country world alongside Lainey in a similar fashion to the Carrie/Miranda dynamic of last decade.

Gabby Barrett - “God, Money & Love”
I really like the writing on this one. And Gabby sounds great on it imo.
Carrie Underwood - “Love Wins”
Ngl I always held the biggest grudge of this song because this marks around the time Carrie’s radio momentum started to get shaky. But maturing is realizing that this song is such a breath of fresh air. Kind of feels like a mixture of “Something in the water” and “So Small.” Deserved SO much better than what it got, and very ballsy of her to put this out in 2018 when it felt like the public was extremely divided.
