Cause it's Keith and that's what I like to do.. One's never enough... or 100 ;) No offense, but that's a little crazy (Imo). "No offense, but let me insult you for the way that you choose to spend your life even if said choices have absolutely nothing to do with me or my ability to make mine." Not a necessary comment but also one that is needlessly personal and needlessly stirs up bad feelings. So let's not. myeverything, Carrie has her own concert in Evansville, Indiana on 11 November, and she is on the road for much of the fall. If she does make a surprise live appearance during the U.S. leg of Keith's tour, I think it's more likely to be during the summer, when Carrie is off the road outside of a collection of fair and festival dates. And no doubt there will be live performances of "The Fighter" in Australia when they tour together there in December. ETA: One possibility that maybe shouldn't be ruled out: Carrie headlines at the Bridgestone Arena on 22 September, during what seems to be a little gap in Keith's tour schedule. He probably has something else going on during that time, whether due to his wife's work schedule or something else, but perhaps Keith might turn up at Carrie's show.

I have some bad news: I'm having a hard time getting into this album. I mean, it's not bad or anything of the sort; it's just that the major change in sonic direction threw me off a good bit. I'd enjoy songs like "Wasted Time", "Habit of You", and "Gettin' in the Way" more if the production wasn't so overbearing. Both of the collaborations are definitely not country, but they're not that bad from a general artistic standpoint. I'm sure "The Fighter" will be a single at some point, but it sounds way more fitting on adult pop or even top 40 stations. It would be completely jarring for me to hear "The Fighter" in between two legitimate country songs on the radio.
If this comes across as me bashing Ripcord, I apologize. Just consider me overwhelmed with the change of sound here in comparison to Get Closer and Fuse.
Songs I'm a fan of:
"John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16" "Gettin' in the Way" "Blue Ain't Your Color" "The Fighter" "Break on Me" "Boy Gets a Truck" "That Could Still Be Us"
Honorable mentions:
The opening track feels like a weaker "Days Go By" to me. I like "Wasted Time", but the synthesizers and drum loops are pronounced a bit too much here. "Sun Don't Let Me Down" is nice, until Pitbull comes up. "Your Body" is also nice and I guess I wouldn't mind it as a single, but the theme is kinda overdone, so to speak. To cap it off, I don't think I can get into "Worry 'Bout Nothin'" like the rest of everyone else here.
Hopefully everything goes well for him this era.
