Kacey Musgraves - Pageant Material
01 "Pageant Material" (replacing "Biscuits") 02 "Late To The Party" (replacing "Dime Store Cowgirl") 03 "Dime Store Cowgirl"
I'm not sure anything she could've released would have become hits, but I think "Biscuits" sounded too much like "Follow Your Arrow"-lite and didn't move the needle enough. And "Late To The Party" was the radio-friendliest song on the album.

Everyone is always challenging Let it Go's 7 deep selections, which I actually liked all of them w/ the exceptions of Suspicions (which I'd replace w/ Whiskey and You). I love Between the River and Me but I don't see that as overly radio friendly. I'd like to redo a few of Tim McGraw's later single selections
Southern Voice - while I love this album, many of the songs aren't overly radio friendly IMO:
1. Southern Voice (replacing It's a Business Doing Pleasure With You) 2. You Had to Be There (one of his best songs of all time, replacing Southern Voice which should've been the leadoff) 3. It's a Business Doing Pleasure With You (replace Still) 4. Still (extra single)
Two Lanes of Freedom:
1. Truck Yeah (I know this will likely face universal disdain, but I think that this was a bold move for a new record label) 2. Nashville Without You(replacing One of Those Nights) 3. Highway Don't Care 4. One of Those Nights(replacing Southern Girl) 5. Two Lanes of Freedom (extra single)
Reflected: Greatest Hits Part II
1. I've Got Friends That Do (replacing When Then Stars Go Blue. I loved both his singles from this album, but how the hell do you not replace I've Got Friends That Do??) 2. My Little Girl
and in a perfect world, Tim would've replaced Looking For That Girl and Top of the World with anything else from his albums. For those who said Kristofferson, Nothin To Die For and Let It Go were bad single choices, I think those are phenomenal compared to these two. LFTG was crap and TOTW was so vanilla.

Kellie Coffey - When You Lie Next To Me
1. "When You Lie Next To Me" 2. "Love's Funny That Way" (replaces "At The End Of The Day") 3. "Why Wyoming" (replaces "Whatever It Takes")
I love "Whatever It Takes" but I agree it wasn't a good choice for radio.

sabre14 I would've done "Bluer Skies" as the second single from Kellie Coffey's album instead personally, and yeah, "Whatever It Takes" is beautiful but an awful choice for radio. Not sure what I would've done third instead of that one, but basically anything else would've worked better aside from "Outside Looking In" which was also not particularly suitable for radio (though that one had Richie McDonald on it which was something WIT didn't have at least). "Why Wyoming" is a really good pick though. <3

^ Yeah, "Bluer Skies" was the other I was debating for single #2. I would have to think it was given strong consideration for the second or third single, given the fact it's the lead-off track and that always seems to be singles on a fair amount of albums.
"Why Wyoming" is a great song and the unique title would've worked to its benefit I think.
