Currently "In Case You Didn't Know" by Brett Young, but only the first verse and chorus before I realized that in the song he's already in a relationship with this girl and just can't express his emotions instead of my situation where I can't express my emotions to a girl that I'm not in a relationship with Co-sign.

Looks like we may need to start a support group if many more of us relate to the song in this way

For me, I guess you could also say "Everybody's Got Somebody but Me" by Hunter Hayes.

Looks like we may need to start a support group if many more of us relate to the song in this way The first verse hits you so hard if you relate to the song the way you or I can. Like, it's perfectly fitted. Just as powerful as others who wrap the whole song around that concept ("Goodbyes Made You Mine", "You're The Love I Wanna Be In", "I Can't Be Your Friend"). Glad to know I wasn't alone. For me, I guess you could also say "Everybody's Got Somebody but Me" by Hunter Hayes. That too.

sabre14 The first verse gets me because I can relate to the sentiment of having so much to say to that special someone but for reasons I won't get into, I can't express my feelings. I also relate to the end of the verse, because sometimes I wonder if she gets suspicious about my feelings.

Bobby Pinson - Don't Ask Me How I Know Jake Owen - Startin' With Me Sammy Kershaw - Better Than I Used to Be Are all ones of that come to mind right away. I'll add more as I think of them! "Don't Ask Me How I Know" is really tough. The line in the second verse is the biggest reason; "You oughta make that drive to say goodbye to your grandpa before he goes Don't ask me how I know" In April of 2007, me and my dad thought hard about going to visit my grandparents one afternoon but decided against it in the end. We said "we'll do it during the weekend." My grandpa past away from a fatal stroke the following day. I know I'm responding to an old post..But yea.. Back in 1998, me, my sister, and my parents were in town and we're going to go see my grandparents. For some reason we didn't. My grandma died the next morning.

Heard the Brett Young song for the first time today, and I can say that I hate that I relate to it too. Guess I can join the club too, lol.

"The More Boys I Meet," Carrie Underwood. Meeting men is never the problem; liking them is a whole different story!

Keith Urban Til Summer Comes Around I want to explain why this song is one I relate to. My Freshman year of High school a new student came in and me and him became fast friends, we would always talk, we had nearly every class together and in general we always had a great time. The summer of in between Freshman and Sophomore year we still talked but I got busy as I joined Cross Country and worked out 6 times a week. Anyways, when we got back to school he and I were still really close, but in the middle of September he told me he was moving back to his old school, but he told me he'd find a way to to be back in my school so he and I could hang out, he promised that June he'd be back. That was the last thing he ever said to me and he walked away before I could say anything back. When June came around I continued to work out but there wasn't a day he didn't cross my mind. I've since moved on (and have found an even better best friend) but this song brings back to me a lot of memories we had my Freshman year. I still wait for when I'll see him again, and I can only hope that he still thinks about me and considered me an amazing friend.

Perhaps you have a phone number or email address for him? Contact him! You lose nothing in trying.

I just am gonna wait til I can see him in person again.
