Well, the top 10's didn't do it for me, so I decided to do this:
For the next 100 days, I'm going to be reviewing one song from the Billboard Year-End of 2006, starting with #100, ending with #2. So yeah, the whole summer, a review will be posted each day.
I believe that some reviews won't be too good, while others, I can do fine going into detail with. So, let's start this:

100. Teddy Geiger - For You I Will (Confidence) Peak: 29
From one of the writers of Stitches, comes...this. I will give the song this. It kinda is a little nice sounding, and gives me nostalgic vibes, considering how much 2006 is a nostalgic year of mine. However, it still doesn't mean this song is good. Other than sounding like a "John Mayer" clone with his pretty odd voice, what this song boils down to is being a typical "deep" song that only teenagers believe they can relate to. Some of the lyrics are even downright bad. Other than the fact that the "Cannon ball" metaphor sounds WAY over the top, we also have ones like "I can fall asleep into those eyes, like a waterbed".. 0_0 Yeah, I shouldn't be expecting something better, from the writer of "now I'm without your kisses, I'll be needing stitches". But still, while nice-sounding, the really questionable lyrics, along with Geiger's singing style, the song is pretty mediocre. Rating: 5.5/10

99. Taylor Hicks - Do I Make You Proud Peak: 1Chris Daughtry is the real winner, and YOU KNOW IT! Whoa, can't hold any grudges. But yeah, other than the fact that Hicks is without a doubt one of the most forgettable American Idol winners out of all of them, this is just your typical AI winner song. In my opinion, I have no problem with them, and there are a few that I like. However, this song really doesn't do much for me. Maybe it's because it's Hicks, but still, nothing stands out in this song to me. Yeah, not so good review, but still, a pretty bland ballad. Rating: 5/10

98. T-Pain - I'm Sprung Peak: 8Now THIS is a song I hold nostalgia to. Look, I will try to go into better detail with the rest of the songs. But to be fair, I really can't go into much detail with this one. Yeah, this was a failure as a review... 7/10Yeah, there will be songs I cannot really dive into on this list. Which is why I'm doing another review to make it up 97. GORILLAZ - Feel Good Inc. Peak: 14I love GORILLAZ, plain and simple. Of course, seeing how this is their signature song, other that the amazing "Clint Eastwood", it delivers. Even if you don't understand the messages of the song, it's weird, yet a complete ear worm, something that Gorillaz does best in all of their songs. Even De La Soul delivers from their breakdown. But yeah, I love this song, for it's odd sounding melody, combined with the laughing in the background, along with it's music video, it's everything that makes this band sound so amazing. 9/10

Actually, Elliot Yamin should have been the American Idol winner that year.

96. Pink - Stupid Girl Peak: 13It's basically Pink crapping on all the females in pop culture, along with the corruption of young girls...and I LIKE IT!!! Seriously, if this song was made nowadays, it would still hold up, considering that nowadays, the females in Pop a Culture have gotten WORSE!!! I mean seriously, you have those beyond overrated Kardashians and that stupid bitch Kylie Jenner, who thinks she's a role model to young girls, despite attempting to copyright her NAME, and...just everything she does. Plus, You have SJW's everywhere ruining entertainment, like Anita Sarkeesian. Finally, Miley Cyrus...And what did 2006 have? Paris Hilton, who is not relevant anymore, Clinton, who is mixed in the bag. Plus, even Pink isn't a "stupid girl", considering that she hasn't done a single infamous thing...I think. But unlike other artists where they sing about something that doesn't apply to them, (I'll see you next year, Nickelback) Pink actually does follow the message Now, I do have one complaint though. While I LOVE the song's message, I am mixed a little about Pink's singing. It ain't bad, but it feels a little dis-organized, along with the whole "Do Ya Thing" part, and the beat of the song isn't really that strong. But the last one was a nitpick. But still, a great song by such a good artist...even if I'm mixed about her new music. But still, if this song was made today, please don't give it to Meghan Trainor. 8/10

95. T.I. Why You WannaPeak: 29 TBH, T.I. was kind of a mixed bag for me. He isn't bad, but he's not one of the best. For this song, while it's nothing big, or the lyrics don't have any big message, it's still pretty fun-sounding, along with a great instrumental. 7/10Yeah, pretty weak, but I tried on this one.

94. Ne-Yo - When You're Mad Peak: 15I like Ne-Yo, but I do not like this song. Other than the fact that this sounds a bit dis-jointed, I don't like the song's premise at all. Seriously, I really can't see how you can romanticize a girlfriend being mad at her lover! I mean, it doesn't sound cute that she's screaming, or throwing crap...no. His better hits are later on the list, but still, a pretty weak song. 5.5/10

93. Keyshia Cole - Love Peak: 19Originally, this was on my incomplete worst of '06 list. Now, actually reviewing it, it's not really a bad song. In fact, it's actually close to being good. Now, why I suddenly kind of like this song, is because of the vibe it gives. Okay, the lyrics are pretty weak, but this song kind of has the feel of a 50's/70's love ballad, or rather the type you see people slow dancing on balconies on. I will give it that. However, other that the weak lyrics, there's also Cole's poor attempt at a high note (or whatever that term is called) in the chorus. You know, "I FOO-AHH-OOUU-AH--OUUU..." yeah you get the point. But other than that, the classic feel is what makes the song 6.5/10

Once again, comes another unreviewable song. Yeah, I don't think I can review Stay Fly, so pass on that. Other than the fact that it's just a regular modern rap song, I'd say 6/10 So yeah, failure on that, but now on to the next one. 91. Madonna - Hung Up
Peak: 7Whoopee, a modern Madonna song...this one is actually good. Yeah, I do like Madonna, and I do like how her music each decade, tries to fit with the times. Unfortunately, the 21st century seem like her weakest. On one hand, you have songs like American Life & sigh...Bitch I'm Madonna. But one hand, you have good songs like Music, What It Feels Like For A Girl, and this. Yeah, I actually like this song. Other than the fact the music video has a 45 or whatever YEAR OLD WOMAN IN SKINNY TIGHTS UP TO HER ASS, it's a good Madonna song. What makes the song is the high energy. Such a great beat to this song, that instantly draws back to the 90's, and her voice does well with it. This is what Madonna music in the 2000's should sound like. Not trying to be trendy, not with her rapping, and ESPECIALLY not her trying to act like a party TRAP person. Just her actually having fun...or something like that. So, what can I say? Good Song! 8.5/10 BTW, it astonishes me how this was #1 on so many charts, yet how low it was in the U.S. Oh, but a SPECIFIC HORRENDOUS RAP SONG, which I will soon get to, made it to #1.

90. Eminem - When I'm Gone Peak: 8Now we get to an AMAZING rapper...in his rough times. Yeah, around this time, Eminem started to focus more on his comedic routes than his drama, and he was not well liked. Other than Mockingbird (FORGET what the Rap Critic says), this is another song that delivers a strong message. Basically, Em raps out about the struggle between being a father and having a career, and what it does to him. Now, this does have a strong message. However, in delivery, looking back, it really doesn't do it very powerfully. No, Mockingbird does that better. The song is told by some dreams, and to be honest, while I understand what he's saying, they're kind of awkwardly delivered, especially the third part. I KNOW it's a dream, but it's odd that a little girl who is around 7 or 8, is saying "It's too late Dad, you made your choice, now go out there and show em' that you love them more than us", or pretty much anything she says. IDK, maybe it's such that Em has does better at storytelling in other songs. (Stan and Kim, are better examples.) But, I still cannot not like this song. Yes, it may sound a little cheesy, but I guess it still tries. So yeah, not Eminem's best song, or is not even close to being one of the most powerful, but it still tries. 7/10

89. Black Eyed Peas - Pump It Peak: 18Once was a great group, now is...mixed. Of course, after My Humps, their next single..ended up being a MAJOR improvement. Not only do I love the use of sampling in this song, but I just love the fast-paced energy to this song. This is the type of song that either gets you pumped or would go speeding in your car with. Not to mention, each of the members has their breakdown...ok, not Taboo, but I still like every part, even with the fast rapping of Will & Abu. Even Fergie's was a nice touch. So yeah, possibly one of my favorites with BEP. Up there with Where Is The Love? 8/10

88. Young Jeezy Feat. Akon Peak: 4Don't worry, I can explain on this one. So, in this one, Jeezy raps about life on the streets, and drug dealing. While, Jeezy's style is good, I don't think the message really sticks out on this one. While the lyrics aren't bad, compared to other rap songs about this topic, this one just doesn't reach the mark. However, I still like this song. Jeezy can rap, and Akon does work well with the song. Yeah, it isn't a rap classic, but still manages to be a good rap song. 7/10

87. John Mayer - Waiting On The World To Change Peak: 14Um...what was supposed to be the message again? That the world is crap, and that we can't do anything about it but wait? Yeah..what is the point of this song again? Look, John Mayer songs are catchy and all, but for a song that is supposed to be empowering, I kind of don't feel anything. It SOUNDS nice, but the lyrics just make the song feel like it has nothing to prove. Literally, does it say we should worry about our own lives that our surroundings? Does it say that we need to contribute more to saving the world? No, it just says to wait and hope for the best...kind of a boring message if you ask me. Look, I don't hate this song, which is why I can't give it around a 5c but again...really lacking on the message here. At least the album had better singles. 6/10But in terms of messages 5/10

86. Chris Brown - Say Goodbye Peak: 10Oh boy, this douchebag. :( Yes, I know this was when he was clean, and when he was considered "the next Michael Jackson". However, looking back, I disagree. Chris wasn't even close to having the same techniques as him. Look, like other songs on this list, it sounds nice, and Chris does sound good with this song, but it doesn't excuse it from it's flaws. My main problem with the song is that it's a total cliche storm. Every little word used in break-ups is used in this song, from "It's not you, it's me", to downright crying, which is by far, the most stupidest part of the song. BTW, am I the only one who finds this song a rip-off of Burn? I mean, Chris sounds exactly like Usher, and even by the "who-whoo" solo. Did I mention how utterly stupid the "crying" part is? Is it supposed to be sad with the you crying "ooh's" and "ooh's"? Seriously? But yeah, a cliche storm of a song. DEFINITELY not the next Michael Jackson. But as opposed to his ego now..(sigh) 4.5/10Yeah, as low as my rating is, I cannot hate this song. But, I will admit it may sound a little stupid.

Dem Franchize Boys: yeah, this is another pass...sorry FAIL. Next one: 84. Pussycat Dolls feat. Will I. Am - Beep Peak: 13Ugh...now THIS is a song I can actually NOT stand. Yeah, I do not like this song...at all! So, this is basically the PCD singing about how boys need to back off from them because of their sex appeal. At least I think that's what it's about. Because they don't explain anything in the song, other than "I know that you know that I know...".. The use of censorship of this song is annoying as hell. Why bother censoring about your ass and boobs? On second thought, I don't even know if that's what they're actually saying. It's not clever at all with the beeps, and no, it doesn't help the catchiness! But when it doesn't rely on beep sound effects, they just annoyingly say "ha ha ha". I don't know why, and I don't care. Oh, but it doesn't help they end every verse with HA HA HA...VERY ANNOYINGLY. Seriously, it's not hot, guys. Oh, and the lyrics are no better. Other than what I explained, we have a lovely detail of how boys were after Nicole since the 7th grade. Yeah, what a lovely detail. Nothing like immature little boys getting their boners up. Just, this song sucks. It's not catchy, and it fails at using censorship, with no purpose for the lyrics. 3/10

Now going back... 83. Lifehouse - You & Me Peak: 5Good, we're going to the Adult Contemporary genre, the genre that has plenty of crap that end up being ear worms. This song...doesn't end up being one of them. Yeah, I am mixed when it comes to Lifehouse. I do like some of their songs, like Hanging By A Moment, or Halfway Gone. But otherwise, they are ok at best. For this song, I do like it's slow melody, along with Wade's voice matching the melody. However, what is wrong with the song? The lyrics. Look, I don't know if you're tired of me complaining about the lyrics, but still, this is an important part of the song. For a love song, some of the verses can be pretty cheesy. Have you ever paid attention to the opening lyrics? "What day is it? And in what month? This clock never seemed so alive." ...what the hell are you talking about? Seriously, for a love song, I have no idea what he's trying to convey! Not as confusing as 2004's Pieces Of Me, but still, for a slow dance song, the lyrics don't stick out. But still, I guess sometimes, the melody sticks out more than the lyrics, which is why I can't hate this song. 6.5/10

Sorry this took a while, but now I'm back. 82. Blue October - Hate Me Peak: 29Now we get another rock song. The song tells of a break-up because of drugs, and to be honest, it's also well written. Instead of coming up as a whiny ballad, the song is detailed with good lyrics with metaphors. However, I am not too fond of the singer's style. On one hand, it does feel like actual sadness is being shown from his tone. But on the other hand, his delivery just feels a bit rushed, and feels like he's cramming in as many of the words. Either that, or I just prefer the band's next single, Into The Ocean, which has the same style of singing. But still, other than that, it's a good song. 7.5/10

Yeah...another damn review skip. I don't know, it's kinda hard to go into detail of Sean Paul songs...other than being fun party songs. Yeah, moving on from We Be Burnin', but if I did have to rate it...7/10 Now, moving on to Ciara... 80. Ciara Feat. Chamillionaire - Get Up Peak: 7Now here is a song I can judge by being a fun dance song. Yeah, the lyrics are not a big concern over me this time. Probably because Ciara is an artist who is always making good beats. Even Chamillionaire's rap part is good. So yeah, a high-paced dance song by Ciara, that's fun, and definitely something that you'd want to get on the dance floor with. 7.5/10I know my reviews might be coming off as weak, but I DO know that I have a LOT TO SAY about the next song...and that's not meant to be a good thing.

79. Danity Kane Feat. Yung Joc - Show Stopper Peak: 8Ughh...I hate this song. No really, I absolutely loathe this song. It's just...I never knew how bad this song was until now. It's just...God, is this song annoying. Basically, it's this new girl group nobody has ever heard before, singing about living the high life, with cars and Louie Vatton purses...even though they're just winners of an MTV reality show...seriously, even if it's run by Diddy, or besides O-Town, has anyone heard of any of the winners, and are they still famous?! Yeah, this song is basically a bunch of losers acting like they're the new big thing. God, do I hate bragging songs. Oh yeah, and did I mention how no one can sing in this song? Seriously, other than that stupid chanting in the chorus and opening, along with the "YAY!" thing, everyone sounds like they are taking a big massive crap while singing. That, and don't forget the use of slang like "fly" and other BS. Even the instrumental is annoying as crap. But is Yung Joc any better? No, he just says MORE crappy words about keys or the car. Just...screw this song. Seriously, everything about it annoys me. The horrendous lyrics, the horrible vocals, the entire concept. Yeah, this is one song I will never go nostalgic about. 2/10 @markg94 Sambalada .indulgecountry Daryl the Beryl @walker9

Finally, I'm back to reviewing BTW, I'm sorry for the tagging, and I'll never do it again. 78. Carrie Underwood - Jesus, Take The Wheel Peak: 20Oh great, a country song. But surprisingly, we get a country artist I like: Carrie Underwood. So yeah, she does good in this song, and it does tell a great story about a girl who's asking Jesus to help her survive death on Christmas. Yeah, sounds like a better story than whatever the hell Amanda Perez was trying to convey in Angel. However, the song, despite having a tear jerking theme, has a bit of I your face lyrics, something I HATE in country music, with barely any subtlety. But despite that, I do think the song does good in what it's trying to convey, but TBH, I felt like Underwood has done better. 6.5/10

So, here we go, another hiatus. 77. Evanescence - Call Me When You're SoberYay, a band I like. Yeah, other than being an Evanescene song, I just this hit..just good. I mean, the song has the same tone that EV is known to have, but the gripe I have with this song, is that it feels like a combination of BMTL and Everybody's Fool, with just the sound alone. That, and it feels a little mainstream. However, it's still a fun song nonetheless, just not one of the band's better ones. 7.5/10

Okay, looking back, I'll admit, I was kinda harsh on Say Goodbye. I mean, I DESPISE the douchebag, but I CANNOT hate the song. As for DK..yeah, my review was a little harsh..I just don't like the group though. 76. Rascal Flatts - Life Is A HighwayHere we go: another nostalgic song. Yeah, by that time, I've never heard the original Cochrane version when I was kid, nor did I know this was a cover. Looking back, I like both versions. Yeah, this is a cover that actually follows up to the original. It's just as upbeat, along with Levox's great vocals. What else can I say? Good job. 8/10

75. Beyoncé Feat. Jay-Z - Deja VuYet, another artist I've been too harsh to. Yeah, Beyonce's new style has grown on me. But besides that, we have another collaboration with her and Jay-Z. While the song is not even close to comparing to Crazy In Love, it's still good. Both B & Z work well off each other, not to mention the jazzy and upbeat tone of the song, along with Beyonce's delivery. Again, nothing else I can say. Just another good Beyoncé song. 7.5/10BTW, a skip on the next two: Rompee & Touch It. Both are upbeat songs though. Yeah, another dumb move, but here are the ratings: 74. Daddy Yankee - Rompe 7.5/10 73. BUsta Rhymes - Touch It 7.5/10

72. Jojo - Too Little, Too LateHere we go: an artist I can actually talk about: Jojo. Yes, Jojo is actually another teen singer who actually has a voice, at least compared to others, especially since a certain Disney star became known this exact year. As for the song, of course, I love it. No, this isn't just based on nostalgia, I really like this song. Once again, Jojo's voice and delivery, along with the background guitar, makes this song so great. The lyrics don't come off as cliche, and while she DOES use auto tune, it's not really bad, and works well into the song. Yeah, this is a 2006 classic, and is one of my favorites to this day. BTW, I'm just gonna be doing letter grades now: A-
