Surprised there's no thread for this. #1 Country hit from the summer of 1995.
This is definitely one of my favorites by her. So catchy.

This is fantastic. The verse is so edgy and trendy, and then the chorus explodes into pure country goodness. Love it!

This song legit has no burn rate for me (like many of her other songs). Never gets old.

Superb song. I'd probably rank this behind only "You're Still the One" and "That Don't Impress Me Much".

This song brings back so many great memories. I remember getting the album when no one had ever heard of her, hearing this song and saying that this was going to be a a big hit (I was like 9 or 10 lol). Easily one of my very favourites.

This song is flat out amazing and I love the amount of fiddle used in this. When the beat starts is when this song explodes into country gold.

I remember the video for this as a kid. It's so her. This is one of her major classics.

I remember when this was all over radio in 1995. It's terrific and was definitely the breakout hit for Shania.

26 years ago today, Shania Twain scored her first chart topper on the Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart with "Any Man of Mine," which spent 2 weeks at No.1. It also reached No.31 on the Hot 100 Singles chart on the strength of sales from the cd single and cassette tape which also contained her previous single "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?" - a No.11 hit a few months earlier. "Any Man of Mine" was the 2nd single from Shania's sophomore effort "The Woman in Me." The album spawned 4 No.1 hits and won the first Grammy Award for Best Country Album in 1996.
